Rainy POV

Mom, dad, and I walked outside after the storm had passed. Branches covered the entire area. "Let's get to work." We all took a job with cleaning up the home stead. We built an area on the right side of the house to make a pile. We could use the lumber for just about anything. I think they were going to use it for decorations on the school house for Charlotte. That was going to be a gift from the family to her as a wedding gift. Then Grace has decided to use it on the medical cabin as well.

I go out with Bam to check the skiffs. Our red skiff had sunk under the water. He picked it up as I noticed the bottom of the boat had holes in it. "I think it is time to put this skiff to bed." "Yea, to find another one maybe we need to do a barter or do a hauling job." "I will be in town tomorrow to talk to Paul." I nodded my head as we brought it onto the beach. It would probably need to be burned. We need to have a bush funeral. We walked back to camp as the family was picking up most of the trash. I go over to Amelia trying to take the wood off of the windows. "Let me help you. You don't need to be doing work like this close to your deliver date." "I still have a few months to go. I feel like I will go to my due date. Whenever that may be." I take a hammer to bring the nails out. I bring one out at a time as Amelia fell down to the ground. "Are you okay?" "Yes, I am fine. I just got a little dizzy." "Matt! Matt! Something is wrong with Amelia." He runs over as gets down on his knees for he could be lever with her. "What wrong?" "I just got a little dizzy but I'm fine now. It has passed." "I'm putting you to bed. You are almost in your third trimester. You need to rest more." "I do not. It was just a one-time thing." "You will not win this fight." We helped her up as he guided her into the cabin.

Camp was coming back together as the debris was picked up. All the wood had been moved to the right side of the house. It was time for a skiff funeral. We all stepped on the beach. Noah played a little of his flute. "Alright, Noah that's good." He tipped his hat to Billy. Then he raised his bow to set the arrow on fire. He pulled back the string and let go. It hit the skiff as it took on fire. We walked back into town as the family would help with lunch.

Snowbird POV

The entire family was enjoying our meal together. We had saved some crab. The family was laughing and having a great time. We were making our way back to our cabins when Blaine went to his studio to work. I had cleaned the cabin and then I made a quick decision. I walk into his studio. I stop in the door way as he looked up at me. I walk slowly over to him as he stood in front of me. I looked up at him as I brought my hands behind his head and brought his lips down on mine. It was quick, fast, and hot. I stopped after a second and then walked away. I needed time to think. I took my gun and walked around in the woods.

Charlotte POV

I rolled off of Bear after we had just made love. We wanted to have kids as soon as possible. Anytime we had time to have sex, we did. "I love it when you do that." There was a special trick that I had learned from my first husband but I didn't tell him that. "Then I'll keep doing it." I looked over at him as he stared at the ceiling. He got up to get dressed. The boys had started on the building of the sidewalks for the town. We didn't need to walk around in the mud. Gabe and Rainy were working on street signs. It really was becoming a town. I watched him as he got redressed. He looked over at me as he was putting on his shirt. He came over to the bed and kissed me one last time. "I love you." "I love you more." "That isn't possible." He walked out of the cabin. I laid in bed for a moment and decide to get up. I couldn't wait until Stefan and Isabella turn five and then I could start teaching again. I got dressed as I heard the children playing outside. I couldn't wait for Bear and I to have kids. I walk outside to see the family gathering around the fire.

A few of the member has piles of paper in their hands. Billy, Ami, Bam, Bear, Gabe, and Noah had papers. I walked over to Bear and placed my hands on both sides of his shoulders. I peered over to see what they said. "I can't believe this. They think we have taken money away from Alaska. That breaks my heart." I couldn't believe this. I whispered into Bear ear "Why does the state government think you stole money?" "We don't have a paper trail of living in Alaska for our dividend." "Dividend?" "Each resident in Alaska receives part of the oil profits, if they have lived there for one year." I nodded my head as I understood. I look up and I don't see Amelia or Lacy. It was going to be hard on Lacy to know what her husband is being accused of.

Noah POV

I look over the papers in front of me and I just can't believe it. I get up from the rest of the family. I had to tell Lacy. I walk into our cabin and find her in bed reading a book. She is reading Les Miserables and it is very good. It should keep her busy for a while. "Darling, I need to talk to you." "The tone you just used means something is wrong." I nodded my head. "I was served with papers that say that I had taken money from Alaska." "When?" "For five years. Starting in 2009." "That must mean that you might have to go to prison." "That is a possibly." She started crying and I knew it was her hormones that made it worse. I bring her into my arms as she cried in my shoulder. She grabbed onto me as if I might leave.

Bam POV

After hearing the news, I wanted to go into town to secure a hauling job. I take Blaine's skiff into Hoonah as I found Paul to talk to him. I shook his hand as he led me down the dock. "The skiff that you guys have been using, is not good." "We found holes in the bottom of the boat and we put that one to bed." "I'm not surprised. I have this skiff that I won't need for the rest of the season. You may use it but you must delivery an item from Groundhog Bay to here. It is a 2,000 lbs. car. We need it here in the next few days." "I would have to talk to my old man and bring him here to check it out." I shook his hand as we said our goodbyes. I made my way back home to talk to dad about the deal. I came into the bay as I see dad sitting on the big log on our beach. I tie up the skiff as I made my way over to them. "I might have something to cheer you up." "What would that be?" "We can get a new skiff if we deliver a car to Hoonah." "A car?" "A car that weighs 2,000 lbs." "Is it a good skiff?" "Yes, it is a great skiff." "I take a look at it tomorrow when we go into town. I just want to be alone with nature." I nodded my head and walked towards my cabin to find Eleanor.
