Dog Alex Mercer x Reader[DISCONTINUED]

1. [First Name]s New Job

Normal POV

[First Name] just got her new job with her best friend Emily and they are on their way to their apartment

"I can't wait for the job" Emily squealed in happiness with her friend

"I can't wait for it tomorrow Emily and just relax a little" [First Name] giggled while trying to calm her friend down but deep down she is as excited as her BFF until she felt an arm stop her she looks to see that it was Emily, looking at the main road "What's the matter?" [First Name] asks with worry, Emily points to the road to see a limping dog with a bloody white shirt, brown hoodie and a black jacket holding a puppy in its mouth while walking in the middle of the road it collapsed then the traffic started going.

[First Name]s POV

I stood in horror as the cars just zoomed past and over the dog and the puppy then I felt something rise in my veins that it made me move my friends arm from me and I sprinted to the road and grabbed the unconscious dog and the worried puppy and to see myself on the other side of the road.

I hear footsteps running towards me that I turned round to see Emily looking at me with shock and worry on her face "WHAT THE HELL [FIRST NAME]! RUNNING OUT OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD LIKE THAT!" She shouts at me but I knew she was scared and I was puzzled 'Was that Adrenaline in my veins running or something else?' I thought to myself and we went home to give the puppy and the dog some TLC.

Apartment

Emily and [Name] got to their shared apartment and settled both dogs onto Emilys bed then started checking, cleaning and bandaging their wounds so they don't get infected "They got dog tags but no info on the owner" Emily said to [Name]

"Do you think that the owner abandoned them?" [Name] asks with a puzzled face

"Probably. I'll be a few photos of these two on Facebook and share it all over to see if anyone could respond and whoever responds that would be their owner"

"Why can't we keep them until then" [Name] suggests

"But we got work tomorrow [Name] we can't look after them both while working" Emily said with a slight serious tone

"But then again, we could always leave food and water for them so they don't starve or be thirsty all day" Emily continues with a slight smile

"So does that mean we are keeping them then?!" [Name] asks in high hopes which made Emily sigh

"Aye. It does mean we can keep them but I'm looking after the puppy, you can handle the Doberman right?" Emily answers her best friends question so the two girls squealed and hugged eachother.
