NINA: I can't believe I'm actually in college, standing on the cement block steps heading into my new school, and starting a new chapter into my life. There are so many mixed feelings about this. Who am I gonna meet? Who am I gonna love? Will I find a guy to love? Your probably thinking, your in college no need to rush things, but I have a feeling that love isn't gonna disappoint me anymore. It's a new beginning right?
MADISON: "GAHHHH! I'm in college now can you believe this??! Can you stand it mom?? I'm going to Boston University and I can't believe it!" "I'm so excited for you sweetie. Your gonna have an amazing experience filled with wonder and love." Mom said. Okay, so my mom has been on this kick about finding the right man for me. Don't get me wrong I had boyfriends in the past but they are no Jordan Knight! If you know what I mean? Yes, I said Jordan Knight, one of the lead singers of my favorite boy band of all time NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK! He is basically the perfect man. I never met him, but if I did I wouldn't make him forget it. Actually one of the reasons why I came to Boston University is to be closer to the band!
TIRA: Wow, finally in college. I made it here. I made it to Boston! This is where I belong. I flew from my hometown because I wanted to become independent and I didn't want to have my family come along and help me get everything ready. I want the challenge of doing it myself. As I'm walking up the cement steps to the dorm hall I was assigned, I noticed a brown-haired tall teenager looking lost and confused. Since I spent almost my whole life in Boston and dreaming of being at the school and knowing everything there is to know about BU I needed to help this person. I walk over to the girl and she greets me eagerly "HI! My name is Nina, do you mind helping me? I'm looking for two of my roommates and I just can't seem to find them! Are you one of them?" Nina said hoping I was. She seemed so smart and welcoming like I knew her my whole entire life! Nina showed me her wrinkled up paper pointing at two names. One of the names was Madison and the other was me! yes, I was her roommate for four entire years! She seems so fun and carefree. I bounced up in joy and said excitingly "Hi, I'm Tira and I'm one of your roommates! It's such a pleasure to meet you! We're gonna be great friends!" Nina looked up from the paper and started giggling and had the biggest grin on her face. "Yes, It's so nice to meet you too Tira! We're going to have an awesome time. I just want you to know that I like to put posters up of my favorite boyband New Kids On The Block." As those words came out of her mouth I began to squeal with joy. Are we sisters? Are we related? New Kids On The Block is my favorite band in the entire world. Fate has definitely brought us together as roommates. "Are you for real? They are my uptime favorite band. I brought all of my collections of posters and merchandise! We will have a decorating party." I said very enthused. We picked up our suitcases and went into the building to find our room. I just hope Madison loves New Kids On The Block as much as we do!
MADISON: once my mom has pulled up to the building where I will be living for the next four years, I open the door as fast as a kid gets up on Christmas and run straight to the front door. I wonder if my roommates are here or not. I hope they like me. I hope they can keep up with my obsession. My mom and I practically stomped over the students to get to the front desk. The secretary had a very defined face with very little makeup on. The reason I'm analyzing her is because she is my dorm advisor for my time at BU. "Hello, you must be Madison. Nice to meet you. Your roommates are already here so go on up and mingle!" The secretary said as she was handing me a gold key. This is it. This is where I find out if they truly like me. My mom says to be myself so here goes nothing. I knock on the door and just as I was about to knock again, Jordan Knight answered the door? For a moment I was having a real panic attack thinking why would Jordan out all of the places be here. But it was a life size poster of him! Okay, either they knew I was majorly obsessed or.... "Hi, sorry! We are just freaks for New Kids On The Block and thought we would answer the door with our posters! Haha! Sorry for the scare." My roommate said. I literally freaked and answered quickly "No, DONT FEEL BAD, IM A BLOCKHEAD SISTER AND LOVE THEM TO DEATH!!!" We all shrieked in happiness and started dancing with each other like we all were best friends for millions of years! I'm so happy I have roommates that understand me and will respect me no matter what!
