Divergent: if there was no war.

Tris's POV

Tobias walks over to congratulate me, "if I give you a hug, do you think that will give away too much?" he asked me.

I stand up "I really don't care." then I kiss him. Christina's jaw dropped! I don't think she was expecting that!

After the rankings I go back to the dormitories and gather my things. then I go to he chasm to get my apartment keys, once I'm finally settled in, I just lay on my bed thinking about what I want to pick for my job.

I only get one shot at this, so I have to aim well. I want to work in the control room with Tobias, but I kinda want a government job so that I can see my father. The only problems with a government job is that I would be working with Eric, who hates me and my boyfriend, and my Divergence. My divergence would be a problem if I worked in the government, because they can't control me. I think I'm going to pick the control room, that way I'm not putting myself or Tobias in danger, and I get to work with him.

All that thinking wore me out. After I had decided I went right to sleep. I woke up to a knocking on the door. I opened the door expecting Christina, but found Tobias who was out of breath. he must have run from his apartment to mine. Wait what!? I never told him where my new apartment was, how could behave found it? "Oh hey!" I say suprised. "Sorry, I was expecting Christina."

"It's ok I just wanted to make sure you were ok." he panted "I saw peter with a knife and I heard a scream."

"Oh my goodness! I hope no one got hurt!" I reply. "Come on in, sit down." he came in and say on my bed. I sat right next to him and held his hand to assure him that I was fine. "Knowing peter, somebody did get hurt. I wonder who."

"It was probably someone we don't even know I mean if someone is missing from the job choosing later someone will notice." he told me.

"I sure hope so!" I answered "We both better get ready though, or we will be late."

"Bye, I love you." he told me less than a second before kissing me passionately. we kissed for a good couple of minutes before he finally broke the kiss.

"Bye, I'll see you later. Love you!😘" I said as I shut the door.
