The BAU wasn't having a good day. The youngest member had been kidnapped and the team was scrambling to find him, and they all had there plates full, so it was no surprise that they were pretty mad when they were called to the stain to deal with a crying and angry woman demanding to see them. When they got there though, they had the surprise of a life time.
Being profilers, they had seen their fair share of horrors and where very hard to truly surprise, but today would be different.
When the team arrived at the police station they were pointed to a room containing a weeping pregnant mother and what appeared to be a small child. JJ took the lead.
Opening the door JJ began to introduce herself and the team.
"Hello, I'm agent---", the lady interrupted her.
"You're agent Jennifer Jureu, and agents Gideon, Hotchner, Morgan, parentis, and tech analysts Garcia I know."
The team eyed each before Morgan approached the still sitting mother
"How do you know us?"
"My husband speaks highly of you all."
"Who is you're husband?" Morgan asked
The mother looked at them for the first time and responded:
"My name is Lillian Elizabeth Baker Reid, my son is Atlas Dean Reid, and my unborn daughter will be Lily Louise Reid. I am Mrs. Dr. Spencer Reid and my husband is the missing Dr. Spencer Reid and you have five seconds to tell me where he is" she said as she slowly rose from her seat and with every word her voice got louder.
And that's how the team learned that their baby faced Doctor wasn't the boy they thought he was.
