Wild p.o.v

Hi, my name is Aido, but everyone calls me Wild. I live in foster care with my little sister Rima. I'm 16 and Rima is 12. Our parents died two years ago...murdered would be a better word. I know who killed them, but no one wants to believe me.

Our foster parents rape me and abuse Rima. I'm mute and gay. My foster parents (Jake and Sophia) claim to be the best parents in the world and because I'm mute and Rima is scared of them, we never disagree.

I'm a 16 year old boy who has to act like a father to my 12 year old sister because the one she has now would rather see her 6 feet under than going off to high school. They make it seem like everything is perfect by living in this 4 bedroom house, giving Rima and I our own room and bath, the hottest cloths, and game systems. They make this big show when people come over, but when they leave, Jake locks Rima and I in the basement.

"Wild?" I looked up from my journal and raised an eyebrow. "Why do they hate us so much?"

I put my journal down and opened my arms. She crawled in my lap and cried on my shoulder.

"I miss mommy and daddy." I wrapped my arms around her and held her tight, running my hand through her hair. I rocked her slowly back and forth until her tears slowed and her breath evened out. She cried herself to sleep again.

The door to the basement opened as I laid Rima on her pallet in the corner.

"Come on, Aido, Sophia's in the mood."

I sighed and kissed Rima's cheek before taking a deep breath and slowly walked up the stairs. "She's in the master bedroom." I nodded, walking down the hall as Jake turned and walked into the living room. I took another deep breath and knocked on the door.

"Come in."

I swallowed bile when I opened the door and she was on the bed with nothing on.

~A hour and 3 punches to the ribs later~

Jake unlocked the basement door and pushed me down stairs. "School starts in the morning. Y'all need to get up at 7." I nodded and he slammed the door shut. I sighed and curled up next to Rima. I pulled the cover over us and fell asleep.
