~Chapter 13~

Alex’s point of view.

Gagen was going to freak when she realized our high school consisted of the supernatural and Human’s that have sworn secrecy. Like literally freak and most likely kill us.

When we drove into the parking lot, people were watching us. We hopped of the bike and waited for Aiden at the gates. When he came we walked inside and to our lockers. Mine was 67, Gage’s 66, and Aiden’s 65. In the process I was holding Gagen’s hand.

“Here is your key.” I said passing Gage her key to her locker. She took it and smiled. She opened her locker and put all her books in there except English.

“All done” she said smiling.

“Me too.” Aiden said looking at us.

“What?” Gage said.

“I didn’t say anything.” He said back. I could see the look in their eyes that this was going to be a long day. And as if it couldn’t get any worse, Rachael and her plastics came up.

“Not getting along so well are we? Did she try to kiss you Aiden?”

“No she didn’t try to kiss him.” I said looking down at her.

“Who asked you?” she snickered.

“He’s titled to his own opinion, barbie doll.” Gage growled.

“Hey calm down.” I said putting my hand on her shoulder.

“Who let you in this school? Are you a human sworn to secrecy or a swamp monster?” Gage looked at me fiercely.

“What the hell is she on about?”

“Um... this school is filled with supernaturals and human sworn to secrecy.” I said scratching my head.

“So that’s how I got in so easily.” She looked back at Rachael. “Depends, what are you? The talking plastic barbie doll?”

“No, I’m a faerie.” She spat and wings sprouted from her back.

“I’m a demun.” she said proudly.

“Female demuns can’t be pure breed.” She said baking away a few feet.

“She is the first and the most powerful demun there is.” I said backing her up.

“As if. Prove it.” Gage summoned fire in one palm and water in the other.

“I have all elements and most of the powers.” She extinguished the flame with the water and then turned the water into ice. She then transported behind Rachael and tapped her on the shoulder. Rachael freaked out. “See?”

“Oh god. Let’s get out of here.” She said walking away.

“Nice first impression.” I said hugging her.

“Why thank you.”

“We should get to class.” I said grabbing her hand and walking to English. Aiden followed behind with some of the guys from the football team. We got inside the class room and sat at the back were we normally sit. I made one of the guys sit next to the window so Gage could sit next to me. We got our stuff out and waited for the teacher to come in. Dave, a friend of mine, eyed Gage.

“Who’s she?” he asked.

“That’s Gage, and she is off limits.” I said smiling at him.

“She surfs?”

“Yeah, she’s good at heaps of sports.”

“What is she? Angel, Faerie, Elf, Mermaid, Wolf, Vampire?”

“Nope.”

“Human?”

“nah. Far from it”

“What then?”

“She can tell you herself. Babe?” I said tapping her on the shoulder. She looked at me and smiled. “You mind telling Dave what you are?”

“I’m a demun and an angel” she said smiling at him. “Nice to meet you Dave.” I noticed she was wearing a different necklace today.

“What’s that?” I said touching the pure diamond heart.

“Gabriel gave it to me. It controls my powers.”

“Uh...” I said cautiously.

“It was my mother’s Alex.”

“I knew that.”

“Good morning everyone.” Miss lay said, walking into the class room. “Today we have two new students. Gagen and Jude. Come to the front please.” Gage’s eyes went wide when miss said Jude. She got up and walked to the front followed by a guy with sandy blonde hair like hers. “Introduce yourselves and tell us what you are.”

“Well I’m Jude and I’m a Demun.” Jude said running his hand through his hair.

“I’m Gage and I’m a Demun and an Angel.” Gage said.

“No you’re not.” Jude said laughing.

“Wanna make a bet?”

“Sure thing, Lucifer’s little one.” He said getting in her face.

“Fine.” Gage said. She summoned fire in her hand and pressed it against her other hand which had the scar from the cut on it. Black and gold blood trickled of her wrist onto the floor. “See?”

“Satan save me.”

“Oh, you don’t want him to save you.”

“He is your father.” he said walking closer and grabbing her wrist gently. a shocked expression plastered her face. by this time the whole class had gone silent.

 “I know he is, but he killed my mother.” She said shoving him away and walking back to her desk. She sat down and glared at Jude.

“Do you know him?”

“He kissed me a while back. He’s from school or should I say sinful high.” She said sarcastically.

“He’s not getting away with that. Kissing you I mean.”

“You’re cute.” She simply said smiling at me. I grabbed her hand and smiled. After that, class went by like a blur. Gage got along with all the guys and most of the girls. When the bell went we got up and went back to our lockers.
