I sighed and tapped my glass. It wasn't easy these days, ever since the Mutation. It happened a century before I was born, but it still effected Pokemon. A Gallade walked by me, checking me out. I rolled my eyes and turned my attention back to my drink. He sat down beside me, ordering a drink. He winked at me, a blue horn rising from his cropped green hair. He was wearig long white pants and a green jacket. His eyes darted over my body, sizing me up. I hated whe people did that. Yes, I was a shiny Umbreon, big whoop. That doesn't mean I'm like other female Umbreon, who, by the way, were total sluts.
"So babe, you come here often?" he slightly slurred.
Worst line ever, and you could tell he was tipsy.
"Don't talk to me," I said icily.
He chuckled and reached his hand towards me. He was trying to squeeze my ass.
"C'mon babe, not so uptight," he said.
In one fluid moment I grabbed his wrist and flipped him over, slamming him onto the ground. He tried to get back up, but I kicked him across the room with my combat boot. His head slammed against the wall, knocking him out cold. The music stopped, and everyone was staring at me. I picked up my glass and drained it, slamming it back down on the bar.
"Draw a picture, it'll last you longer," I muttered.
I walked out of the bar, taking a breath of the crisp air. Pokemen and Pokewomen walked through the streets. The Mutation caused a world wide power outage, and any machinery just stopped working. Of course, being mostly Pokemon, we didn't know how to operate it anyways. I pulled up the hood of my sleeveless hoodie, shadowing my dark skin. The glowing blue rings on my shoulders and forehead lit a couple inches in frot of my face, but that was it. My tail lit up the darkness swelling behind me, but I willed it to dim. I liked the dark. My eyes switched from their normal gold to silver as nightvision kicked in.
I walked on, shoving my hands in my pockets. My black hair was up in a tight ponytail, my bangs tucked neatly in my hood. My ears stuck up from the holes I had made for them so they wouldn't be jammed in my hood. My cargo jeans were tucked into my combat boots, silver rings around my arms. One ear had a cuff and chain in it, and my tail had a silver band around it next to the blue marking. I was wearing fingerless gloves.
I passed a group of tough looking Pokemen. A Granbull gave me a strange look, cracking his knuckles. A Machoke flexed his muscles, and a Graveler glared at me. I just tried to walk past, but they stepped out in front of me. I tried pushing past, but they shoved me away.
"You ain't goin' nowhere," the Granbull growled.
I quickly delivered a sharp thrust to his stomach, causing him to double over. I strode past him, but the Graveler grabbed my arm. I flipped him over me, throwing him into the ground. Machoke was smart enough to back off, letting me walk away unscathed. I smiled to myself. The wind ruffled my hair as I made my way to a club across town. A neon light flickered above the entrance.
The Sweet Serenade
I stepped in through a secret entrance. I slipped through a narrow hallway, stepping into a room with a faded star on the door. Well, back to work. I carefully locked the door and stripped down. I hid my clothes under a loose floorboard. I wore a short skirt, a cropped, tight tank top, and fishnet leggings. I frowned. I hated it, but I owed the owner a favor, and my payment was my voice. This is my outfit. I refrained from wearing heels, that was all I could get besides not having to go out in a thong and skimpy bra.
I covered the blue markings with gold so nobody knew it was me. I put in contacts to make my eyes look red and stepped back out. Here, the crowd knew me as Lilica. I stepped into the hall behind the stage. Jigglypuff had just finished singing, and of course everyone was sleeping. Cleffairy was up next to wake them up. After screeching she exited the stage, cups and other things being thrown at her. I dodged a shoe as I walked on. I grabbed the mic and cleared my throat.
