New school, new people.

In the beginning.

It all began in the summer of 2012. Ashley went to school at Ironwood High School. She didn't have very many friends there but she made it through. When school got out and summer began, her mom had a new boyfriend and they decided to go to a rodeo for the weekend and come home after. While that was happening Ashley was in another state visiting her other family members she had there. Well on the day Ashely had to head home, the night before something happened to her mom and her mom's boyfriend on his motorcycle. A drunk driver hit them and caused a car crash. Angela finally got home and when they were pulling up there was a police car sitting in her grandparents drive way. She didn't think anything of it. So about twenty minutes later her grandma told her what happened and Ashely was heart broken. She didn't know what to do anymore. It took her a while to realize that she had lost her mom. She kept thinking it was always her fault because if she wouldn't have gone with her grandparents to see other family, her mom would've stayed home and it would've been different. So eventually her family had started moving her stuff from her old house into her grandparents house and she would soon be living there.
     Later that summer, her grandma told her that she would have to go to a different school. She started panicking and crying. She didn't know what to do. When Ashley was younger, her mom worked with a woman whose daughter was the same age and went to the school she has to transfer to. They were good friends, basically grew up together in a way. But Ashely  still didn't know anyone else there. She was terrified.
