AN: Hey! What's up my EeveeArmy? Soooo... Here's the next chapter of The Mutant! Sorry it took so long, school is being a jerk, and right now I am currently in a car, driving to Tennessee, with 4 hours left to go. So, I thought, "Hey! The best way to pass time is to write more of The Mutant!" Again, sorry if there are any spelling errors, I'm in a car.

Pokemon: The Mutant, chapter 2: Radioactive

-Neon's POV-

"What?! Under attack?! By who?!" I demanded. The guard shook his head.

"We don't know which side.. It just happened so suddenly.." He seemed dazed.

I nodded. "Alright, tell everyone to take battle positions!" The guard agreed, then ran off. I turned to Michelle, who was already grabbing a sword.

I grabbed my hammer, and ran my fingers over the wooden pole.

"Lets do dis."

--------------------------------------------------

We raced over to the battlefield, surprised by how much blood dappled the ground already.

But the thing that shocked me the most, was that Holly and Abby where there... Fighting for the resistance?! What?!

I knew I couldn't trust them, so I kept a close eye on them. Sure enough, I was right. I saw Holly leading one of the members of the resistance away from the battle, and when she thought no one was watching, she silt their neck, killing them.

That's when I attacked her.

I kicked her in the back, causing her to stagger backwards. I grabbed her shoulders and threw her to the ground, then smashed my foot onto her back. She screamed in agony, her green eyes blazing with anger.

I sneered at the black haired girl.

"Tsk, tsk.. Such a shame it's not a full moon.. You have no idea how badly I want to rip you in half right now.." I growled, pressing my foot harder.

She looked up at me. For a split second, I thought I saw fear in her green eyes, but it was quickly replaced by anger.

"Your a monster, Neon!" She snapped at me. I raised an eyebrow at her remark.

"Oh really? I'M the monster?!" Just then, I felt something slam into my side, knocking me off Holly.

I looked up to see Abby staring down at me, her eyes blazing with anger.

I quickly shoved her off, stood up, then dusted off my pants.

"Smart," I commented to them, my gaze shifting from Holly to Abby. "Pretending your on our side, just to gain an advantage." I took a step toward them, several of the members of the resistance where blocking the only escape rout for Holly and Abby.

"Pathetic. A brave soul, willing to die for a cause, wouldn't do that." I took another step towards them. Holly and Abby took out their swords. I took out my hammer, preparing for an intense battle.

"How do you know?" Abby narrowed her eyes. "We're just traitors to you."

"True." I blinked. "But as much as I wish that wasn't true, we're still friends. That means I know a lot a about you, and you know a lot about me."

Holly stared at me, a smirk plastered on her face. "Do you? Where we honest to the kings all along, or where we just playing it all along?"

"I would puresume."

"Which one then?"

"The truthful one," I let out a humorless laugh. "Oh Holly, I know your a bad liar."

Just then, bombs exploded around us. I covered my face with my arms, trying to block out the dust flying around.

When the dust cleared, I realized Abby, Holly, and the kings' troops had escaped.

"Blast it!" I cursed under my breath.

Most of the resistance was dead, thanks to the bombs. My gaze shifted over to a fallen figure in the center of the clearing. Her light brown hair was turning red because of the blood flowing down

from a gash in her forehead.

"Michelle!" I screamed and ran over to her.

Michelle blinked her eyes weakly. "N-Neon.. The r-resistance has f-fallen.."

"No!" I screamed again. I felt warm droplets running down my cheeks.

"I won't let you die!"

Michelle smiled weakly. "N-neon, my time may be over in the world, but you still have your whole life ahead of you!"

"Michelle.. I need your help to get revenge on Abby and Holly!" I cried.

Michelle shook her head. "Neon, your the mutant! You can defeat the king!"

I stood up. "Michelle.. Y-your right.. I need to stop this war.."

Michelle blinked. "G-Go save the world.."

"Thank you Michelle.. For everything.." I ran off the battle field, my tears turning silver against

the moonlight.

Michelle watched as Neon ran off, mouthing, "Good luck" before collapsing in a pool of crimson.
