"Damn she's gorgeous." Zircon murmured to himself.
He quickly raised his head and looked around, making sure nobody heard him. Zircon had been looking at Emma, the "prettiest girl ever".
It was last period on Friday, 12th May and Zircon couldn't wait for the boring biology lesson to be over. I mean, who needed to know about single celled organisms? Boring.
He watched as Emma bent down, earnestly taking notes, a strand of her dark hair coming on her face. He knew about Emma's strange love for science. He didn't understand it, but he knew about it. Science to her was as interesting as game of thrones to him.
He watched as she tucked her hair behind her ear and continued listening to Mrs. What's her Name talk away. Emma really was beautiful, with her dark hair framing her fair skin, her dark eyes and pink lips.
Zircon had a bad crush on her, the only problem was that so did almost every other guy in their school.
The bell signifying the end of the lesson rung, jolting him out of his thoughts.
Emma got up and put her books in her bag neatly.
Zircon waited. He had planned this moment for a long time. He had slipped a toad in Emma's desk and was waiting for it to jump out on her so that she would get frightened and he, like her knight in shinning armor, would save her from the toad.
It was simple, effective and also no one could guess that he had put it there.
Suddenly, a startled scream came from Ivary's mouth, Emma's annoying friend, who was sitting behind her. The toad leaped from her desk to the floor. Almost immediately the class uniformity was broken, as people ran here and there, some chasing the toad, some running away from it.
Zircon pulled his hair in frustration. Damn that thing! It had ruined his whole plan!
However annoyed he was, he had to bite his lip from laughing at Ivory's horrified expression.
The toad was frozen on the floor. Poor little guy must be traumatised.
The biology teacher got up thankfully and left the class in a hurry, being scared of toads herself.
Ivary was looking around to see the culprit when her eyes landed on zircon's amused expression.
"Zircon! NOT. FUNNY. Toads!? Come on! What is wrong with you?" She screamed, marching up to him furiously.
"Chill out. He didn't do anything, did he? And come on, you gotta admit, it was classic, right?" He said, laughing.
"No! Disgusting, that's more like it!" She yelled, walking away angrily.
"Well, that didn't go as I expected but All's well that end's well." He said, to no one in particular.
Chuckling to himself, he headed towards his car.
