Will Bladeson was ready for a competition. He was participating in a sports event where he had to bike all the way to the lake, then swim, and run to the finish once the lake ended. He took a part time job as a mercenary who would offer his services to the highest bidder. He also talked a lot, but that didn't matter since he had a lot of skills with weapons. And since he needed skills to compete in the triathlon, nothing could possibly go wrong, right?
WRONG. Something DID go wrong. You see, the bike and swimming part were fine, but the running part, Will Bladeson was almost close to the finish. Until his leg stopped moving. His veins in his leg grew bigger. Then he was paralyzed. Will Bladeson had a rare disease that stopped him.
Suddenly, in the hospital, a man named Dr. Sebastiano appeared, along with Dr. Rotcod and their bodyguard, Joe Jeffrey. Dr. Rotcod took Will Bladeson to a secret lab so they could 'cure' his disease. They put these secret chemicals in his legs, making them better. But then, the lights turned red. The alarms activated. The container exploded. The explosion's debris were too much and they killed Dr. Sebastiano. Dr. Rotcod, however, sensed movement, and went to take a closer look. Will Bladeson was safe, but his face looked scary. It looked even scarier than the face of a villain of an average slasher movie. Will Bladeson looked in the mirror and screamed. Then Dr. Rotcod said "Don't worry, you don't have to worry about that face anymore. Because we will erase your BRAIN." Then Joe Jeffrey put a syringe in Will's brain. However, Joe Jeffrey never passed science class and accidentally made Will Bladeson even more twisted. So twisted that Will Bladeson started to- "Is this the part where I fight people now?" Yes it is. If only Joe Jeffrey passed his science class...
Anyway, Will Bladeson grabbed two swords from a nearby surgery tools room. He kicked Joe Jeffrey into the ceiling and grabbed a yellow mask to hide his face. He also stole a yellow suit that matched with his mask and ran.
Now, he would fight criminals and enemies of employers as not Will Bladeson, but another name: DEATHBLADE.
