I was in awe as I took each bite, it's flesh was delicious and all I could think of was the turkey my grandmother used to make every thanksgiving. It was stuffed and baked until it was golden, and was decorated with small vegetables she made by hand. She was a great cook, my grandmother. After granddad had died, she cooked less often, but when thanksgiving came around she went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. I missed her. She died four years ago, but sometimes I still feel like she's watching over me.

he room went quite as Max walked in. I looked down at my plate, even though only scraps were left. I slowly peeked at Logan who sat next to me and asked him if Max was looking at me. He nodded. Great. I kept my head down for a few more seconds before lifting it back up. When I was sure he wasn't looking, I got up to throw the plastic plate away, but was stopped by Demi, "What do you think you're doing?"

"What does it look like I'm doing?" I said motioning towards the dustbin that stood behind her.

"You're avoiding him aren't you?"

I let out a snicker and sidestepped to get around her. Why did she care so much?

"Is that what you do? Run away from your problems?" She pressed on. I had had enough. I stopped, turned around and yelled, "Listen skank, stop obsessing over me! You're pathetic, I haven't done shit to you!"

She was a little taken back, "Well...you're pathetic" She said, starting to walk off,

" is that all you got? Why are you running away from your problems?"

That's when Demi's plate was launched onto me, I screamed in anger and pushed the food off me.

"Ms Steine! Ms Becker! Enough!" Bek said, looking at us firmly. Everyone was staring, including Max.

"But sir-" Demi began,

"NO! I do not tolerate fighting amongst each other, save it for the real fights. Demi, you have been suspended from tomorrow's search. And as for you Alex, I expected better"

"What! You let her go that easy? I mean I am b-"

"Demi, this isn't the first time for you," Bek interrupted.
