Chapter Sevan - Meeting the boys

Turning around all boys were met with a breath taking site. On the stairs stood a girl in a knee high dress that is tight at the top and flowed out from the waist down. Coloured red, brown and orange matched against her reddy brown hair she looked like a glowing sunset. It was long sleeved that flowed out at the wrists covering her hands when placed down against her side. She wore trainers instead of heels and her hair was styled down with a small plait going down the middle of her back.

"Hello. Anyone going to say something or are you just going to catch flies with your mouths hanging open?" Elizabeth asked.

"Beth shush" Sarah said trying to stop her friend before she angered the master.

"What its true. I swear with how wide their mouths are they could fit a horse in there"

Getting over his shock Chris looked at her and asked "Why is your dress that short?".

"Mary made it like this as she saw that I felt uncomfortable in long dresses but don't worry she gave me some long ones too so that you would be happy" Elizabeth stated. Nodding Chris beckoned her and Sarah next to him. As they stood next to him he turned to the three boys.

"Both of you please introduce yourselves"

"Hello I-Im Sarah" Sarah said looking down shyly.

"Hello I'm Elizabeth winters. Nice to meet ya." Elizabeth said sticking out her hand only to be smacked on the head by Chris. "Ow. What was that for?" she asked

"That is not how you greet people. And what is this ya you said?" Chris asked angrily.

Rolling her eyes Elizabeth turned towards him "one do not hit people that is rude and second ya is a word people where i come from say to people of the same age usually". Before Chris could complain there was a small cough. "I hate to interrupt but can we introduce ourselves now?" The ginger haired asked.

"Of course" Chris said turning back towards the boys.

"Hello I am Alexander Roberts" the ginger haired boy said kissing both girls hands. Next was the black haired "Sorry about Alex he is an idiot" he said while smacking Alex on the head "My name is John Evans"

"Hey" said an annoyed ginger

Elizabeth started to giggle with Sarah behind her trying to hold in a laugh. Alex continued to fake cry. Finally the brunette stepped forward "Hello I am Phillip Williams and I am Chris's cousin".

"I don't mean to pry but why are you all here in the middle of the evening?" Elizabeth asked with Sarah nodding.

"Oh that. Chris said he was getting married and we came to scream at him for not telling us who she was but it turned out it was a lie to find out weather or not we were the ones playing the pranks on him at night" Alex explained glaring at Chris.

"Wait that was you.  That was not funny at all. I ended up walking in the garden at night. Wait. Chris getting married that has too be a big joke who would want to marry him. That person must be out of their mind." Elizabeth said. While she said this Alex and john were laughing hard with Phillip and Sarah trying hard not to giggle. Chris through out this was glaring at her. Chris was about to slap her again but was stopped by Phillip. "That explains their business but mine is more serious" he explained. This grabbed everyone's attention.

"What is it?" Chris asked.

"The Dickinson family are back". This statement brought all the boys including Sarah to gasp.

"Um who are the Dickinson family?" Elizabeth asked. All the boys looked at each other before nodding their heads.

"The Dickinson family are one of the most powerful families besides from mine and Chris's." Phillip started to explain.

"They have many mean, cold hearted members in their family. So i have heard"  Sarah said quietly.

"Yes there are first is Angeline and Adam. They are the current heads twin children" Alex said "Angeline is so annoying and is cruel to children and the elderly and she is head over heels in love with Chris. Adam is the older twin and he hates Chris and is always trying to cause problems for him. He is the next heir apparently and he wants to have as much power as possible"

"That's not the worst of it. Their Grandfather was said to have killed off his nephew and his wife just to put his own son as the heir of the Dickinson family" John said

"Shush John that only a rumour" Chris said

"She has a right to know so that she can stay away from him" John said back

"Okay but what about the head of the family is he bad too?" Elizabeth asked

"No fortunately. Harold adored his cousin thinking of him as a little brother and was also happy when he became the head of the house." Chris explained further

"Not only that but he is trying to find his cousins daughter and give her the inheritance of the Dickinson family" Alex said before holding his hand over his mouth. Chris looked about ready to hit him while John just signed.

"Excuse me but i thought that the late heads daughter was also dead" chimed in Sarah

"Well i guess we have to tell you now" Phillip said looking at the two girls "In reality the late heads daughters body was never found so Harold is asking us to help him find her as my father was friends with the late head"

"So was mine and Alex and Johns" Chris went on.

"Okay that explains the back story but why is it bad that they're coming back?" Elizabeth asked.

"Because you idiot if they come back we cannot move freely around there property without the Grandfather knowing" Chris practically shouted at her.

"Hey i was just asking." Elizabeth said looking away from him. Everyone else looked at the exchange.

"Hey maybe we should let them help" Alex said. Everyone looked at him.

"That's a good idea Alex. Will you help us Elizabeth, Sarah?" Phillip asked.

"I do not mind" Sarah said.

"Neither do i" Elizabeth said

"Oh no Beth is not getting involved with this and neither is Sarah" Chris said.

"Well Beth and Sarah can do what they want and they have agreed to help us cousin". Chris looked at them and finally said "Fine"

"Great will fill you two on the details later as we have to go home now bye" Alex shouted dragging John to the door.

"I shall also take my leave" Phillip said exiting the house. Looking at each other Chris suddenly sighed.

"How about we have dinner now?" he asked. Elizabeth just nodded and followed him to the dinning hall.
