"Cara-Joe Smith, get down here right now!! " Cara-Lee Smith called up the stairs to her younger sister for the eleventh time that morning. She giggled at the angry groan that wafted down the the stairs to where she sat at the kitchen table. Seconds later she raised her eyebrow at the thump that resonated from Cara-Joe's room followed by angry stomps only she had the pleasure of hearing every morning.
Looking up to the balcony, she smiled widely at the figure clothed in sunlight at the top of the stairs. Their mother, Jackie-Lee Smith had begged their father night and day to buy a glass house near the sea and isolated by at least half a mile from other residences for privacy. After much prodding from his beautiful wife and two equally beautiful daughters, he could no longer resist the puppy dog eyes and after two days of searching, Carlisle Smith found the perfect house.
It was a beautiful three storied glass house with a glossy, dark mahogany beam for support between each sheet of the clearest glass ever seen. Seeing her sister swathed in the sunlight pouring in through the glass she saw why her mother was so set on a glass house. Her sister, at seventeen, was a year younger than Cara-Lee and was a vision to behold. Her silhouette in the sunlight made her look like an angel. Her thick, dark hair was tumbling down to her waist in unruly curls from just waking up. Her smooth olive skin was flawless like her sister's and had a healthy glow, as glossy as her hair. Her high cheekbones supported round, rosy cheeks, soft and smooth. Her plump lips were apple red which prevented her from ever having to wear lipstick. Her straight nose fit her face perfectly but the most alluring feature she possessed was her eyes. They were the most beautiful blue ever seen. They were clear as the sky on a sunny day on the outside and surrounding the iris was the prettiest shade of blue green. But what made Cara-Joe even more beautiful was the fact that she did not know how beautiful she was. She always considered her elder sister more beautiful but Cara-Lee knew otherwise.
They had similar features but where Cara-Joe was olive complexioned with black hair, Cara-Lee was a bit paler with dark auburn hair, and unlike her sister's mixture of blue and green eyes she had her father's emerald green eyes that complimented her hair perfectly. She had an oval face and she always curled her hair to frame her face. The two sisters were simply beautiful.
"I hate mornings Cara", CJ, as her family affectionately call her, huffed.
She then began her descent down the the stairs like a princess, her miserable frown disappearing at the sight of her beloved sister. "But I definitely love you", she finished as she reached the bottom of the stairs. She walked to the kitchen and around the table to her sister, giving her a quick peck on the lips before snatching away her mug of hot chocolate. Cara shook her head trying to hide her smile, "I told you to stop kissing me, and why can't you pour your own chocolate in the morning?"
"You know you love my kisses baby" CJ retorted smacking her lips,"and it wouldn't feel the same if I poured my own chocolate, I have my maid to do it." She laughed as Cara threw a donut at her, she skillfully caught it and took a bite,"And she's rather creative in the way she serves my breakfast." She giggled and blew a kiss at her sister . "Love you sis."
"Love you too sis."
