(Jessie's pov:)
"Ace? C'mon Ace! Please! I need you!" I cry as I try to revive the limp and lifeless animal. A tear falls from my trembling face to Ace's. His eye flutters, then slowly opens. I watch in astonishment as the gaping wound I gave him healed, as if it were never touched before. He jumps to his feet, and so do I. Ace's baring his teeth with anger in his eyes, but not at me. It's like he's looking right through me, highlighting every flaw until I feel empty inside, with nothing else to live for. I drop to my knees and bury my face in my hands. I hear a loud growl then an ear piercing bark. I bring my head up to see what's going on, but all I see is Ace, charging right at me.
(A.N): okay, okay, I know this is short but I really needed to write that and it seems right to me so I'm going to go with it:) don't forget to like and comment:)
