I walked towards the door that led downstairs walking to the cafeteria since I'm out of breath I thought I might get myself a bottle of water and that's what I did.
Next, I went to the hallway looking for my locker to throw in some book I knew I won't be needing for my next class since it's music.

After spending almost 3-4 minutes searching for my locker -which I finally did- which was located beside the girl's WC. I took my keys out of my short jeans's pocket, unlocked my locker, threw in my books and finally made sure it's locked as I walked away.

"Christopher was with her all break ," I paused at the mention of Christopher's name.

Who's 'her'?

"Who's she anyway?" asked some random girl.

"She's new, I'm not sure." Answered the same girl that mentioned his name at first.

I went closer in order to listen to some more of their talking but seems like they didn't want to go further through the conversation.

What are you doing?

I shook my head in disbelief. I couldn't believe what I was doing.
I remember having a one-hour-lesson from my dad about eavesdropping when I was 10. Terrible memory honestly, he didn't even allow me to go to the bathroom until he's all done with his lesson; and what I did right now was something to be ashamed of.

But on the other hand, it's not like I was eavesdropping or something right? I mean I was at my locker and accidentally listened to what they were saying in what I assume they were saying about me. I mean, pfsht I didn't stop at the mention of his name.

I barely know him.

Pfsht.

I lifted my leg to move forward when suddenly the girl's WC door flew open stopping me at my tracks.
Two blonde girls came out pushing the door wide open leaving it flinging behind. A strong scent filled the atmosphere as I realized how cheap their perfumes were and how terribly they're doing by hiding that smell.

Cigarettes. I thought.

It's kind of a shock since they both looked like good girls and I guess they were right, and I quote,"Good girls are bad girls that haven't been caught" from 5sos song.

Damn I love that band.

I continued my way rushing and looking around for my music class and when I was almost there, reaching mid-way to my class safely, uninjured, my luck decided to kick in and so it did. That's when a girl around my age carrying books that reached at the top of her head hiding her face bumped into me as all the books fell on the ground -as well as the both of us- and all the papers that were beneath the books flew above our heads as a loud thud was made gathering students and teachers around.

When everyone realized what happened they went back to what they were doing and none came to help.

"Nice." I said to myself, looking around and then finally at the girl in front of me.

"You shouldn't be surprised you know, that's how it works in here." The girl with black hair said before collecting the books that were scattered on the ground.

"I'm sorry by the way, " I apologized picking up my empty bag from the ground.

"Oh it's okay, happens all the time." She said, smiling.

"I-I'm Crystal." I hesitated before holding out my hand for a shake.

"I'm Melissa, you can call me Meli." She finished with a cheeky smile, shaking my hand.

I started helping her by picking up the papers as she picked up the books according to it's sizes.
After picking up the scattered books and handing her the papers I picked up earlier, she decided to return the favor -even though it was my fault- by walking me to the music room since I'm new here and Christopher didn't actually show me around.

"Thanks," I said finally reaching class in one piece.
Before she could answer I looked through the glass of the music room to find it empty.

"Where's everyone?" I asked, confused.

"The second bell hasn't rang yet." She informed politely.

I stared at her in disbelief, mouthed a 'seriously' with a shocked face as she poked my shoulder staring back as if I was an alien or something.

"You okay?" She asked in what seemed to be a concerned tone.

"Yeah I'm fine, I just- remind me how many times will the bell ring before class actually starts?" I asked as if I was rapping.

"Uhm, 3." She said taken aback and giggling after watching me slap my own forehead.

"Forgot," was all that came out from my mouth.

"So since the third bell hasn't rang yet, wanna hang out for a while?" She asked politely.

"Sure." I smiled.

******

"See you later?" Mel asked.

"Of Course dude, we're buddies now." I joked as she grinned.

"Take care," I said before leaving the parking lot and started walking to the nearest bus station.

******

"Help!"

On my way to the bus station I heard someone screaming and asking for help, it's scary when you're walking alone in the middle of the street that showed no sign of living creatures.

I brushed the thought of it away and continued walking when suddenly someone was being thrown on the ground right in front of me.

Zombies..

I thought as I walked towards the person laying on the ground.

I hesitated at first, I still am. I just thought that this might be a great way of facing my fears away.

As soon as I got a clearer view of the person on the ground, I realized he was swimming in his own blood and thats when a hand was placed on my shoulder holding a tight grip,

And this time I knew I fucked up.
