Boku no Hero Academia

Chapter One:

[ Izuku's P.O.V ]

I ran and quickly stopped at the traffic light, as I jumped excitedly for the light to let us cross the road. The traffic signal switched and I ran towards Tatooin Station. From where I was, I could hear the commotion already! I grinned and gasped in awe as I grew closer to the station.

I looked up and my eyes widened, "That's a huge villain!" I shouted in amazement.

I continued to stare at the villain, and that had me recall how this all happened. How heroes and villains were introduced as a normality in the world. I remember how it all started, as if it were the back of my own hand.

I grinned and watched in pure amazement as the villain was fighting against Kamui Woods. As Kamui Woods was just about to save the day and take down the villain, a gigantic woman came by and crashed into the villain. Everyone watching gasped in shock. I could only think of how she stole all of Kamui Woods thunder.

Tons of reporters appeared and started to take photos of her as she posed with the defeated villain. I grinned and took out my notebook. Immediately, I started to fill it in with what I saw of Mt. Lady.

"Gigantification, huh?" I muttered to myself, as I scribbled away. "She looks like she'll be popular, and it's an a amazing Quirk, but thinking about the damage to the city that'll go hand in hand with that, its use might be limited? No, but whether or not she can control the size..."

"Hey wait, you're taking notes? You wanna be a hero?" The guy who was standing next to me during the battle asked. "That's great! You can do it!"

I stopped what I was doing and looked back at the man with my eyes wide. I grinned at him in awe. "Yes! I'll do my best!" I exclaimed.

I was scribbling away in my notebook as our classroom teacher began to speak.

"Since you're all third years, it's time for you to think seriously about your future. I'll pass out handouts for your future plans now, but you're all..." He trailed off, catching our attentions. I looked at our teacher. "...pretty much planning to go into the hero course, right?"

"Yes!" Everyone in the class shouted, some cheering and using their Quirks.

I couldn't help but feel down at the fact I couldn't join them and do the same. I wasn't like them. I was a rare case. I had never gotten my Quirk. I'm Quirkless. I frowned and raised my hand in the air, showing that I wished to join the hero course as well.

"Yes, yes, you all have wonderful Quirks! But using your powers at school is against the rules!" The teacher stated. Still, no one in the class stopped upon hearing this.

"Teach!" Bakugo shouted over all the noise in the class, "Don't lump us all in the same group. I'm not gonna be stuck at the bottom with the rest of these rejects!"

A small smile appeared on my face as he spoke. I'll admit that his words hurt me, but that didn't matter to me. Kacchan was someone I have always looked up to since I was younger. He was always so much stronger and so much cooler! Admiring him was all I could do.

"That was uncalled for, Katsuki!"

"Yeah, yeah!"

"You should all shut up like the extras you are!" He retorted.
