Michael's POV

Lucifer had me back inside and offered me a cup of coffee. We talked and he explained the household situation. Lucifer, Castiel and Gabriel are all brothers. Five years ago their parents were in a car wreck but neither of them survived. Lucifer, being over 18, moved back home to the family ranch to take care of his siblings.

"So what about you, city boy?"

"Uh well, I live in an apartment in New York City. Ive been a lawyer for about a year now. Like I said earlier, walking in my mother's footsteps. After my mom died a year before i started law school I was determined to finish be just as great as a lawyer as she was."

"Oh wow, im so sorry."

I shook my head. "No it's alright. It's been a while since that happened."

"How did she die? If you don't mind me asking."

"Car crash actually. She was on a trip down to visit her sister in Alabama."

He nodded. "What about your pop?"

I chuckled. "Dead-beat dad. He left about a year after I was born. Don't know why, and I honestly don't care anymore."

He stood up. "My apologies for bringing up bad memories. Not sure how long Dean will be. How about I take you out back and Gabe and Sam can show you some of our horses. Gabriel loved showin'em off."

I nodded and stood up. "Alright. Ive never seen an actual horse before, I don't think."

He threw his head back and laughed. "Now don't tell Gabriel that. He might trot over you with one." My eyes widened. He laughed again. "Im kidding." We walked through the kitchen and out the back door. There was a large red barn with a very large fenced in area to the left. And to the right of the barn were columns of apple trees. "This ranch has been in our family for about 150 years."

"Wow! That's incredible."

"Hey, maybe Gabriel can give a free riding lesson. He gives riding lessons during the fall."

"Oh I don't know about that."

"Right. Wouldn't want to get those nice pants of yours all dirty," he said smirking, opening the barn door.

"Gabe! Sam!"

"Over here, Luc. Just grooming Hael."

We walked into an area with somewhere between 20-25 stalls. "Why don't you give Mr.- uh give Michael a tour."

His eyes brightened and he practically jumped into the air. "Really?!"

Lucifer turned to me. "Ill call you back when Dean updates on your car." He walked back towards the house. I nodded and turned to Gabriel and Sam.

"Do you ship it?" Gabriel said facing Sam.

"Oh definitely!"

"Umm?" I said confused.

"What should we call it?" Sam asked.

"Hmm. Luchael? No way. Michifer?"

"Definitely!" They said together and high fived.

It was officially awkward. What are they talking about? "Uh guys?"

"Oh right! So this, Michael, is Hael. She's one of our horses up for sale." They walked out of the stall and closed the gate. "This side are our female horses and that side are the males." I notcied that all of the male stalls were empty. "Follow this way." He turned and walked farther into the barn. "This, here, is my girl. Her name is Charlie."

Then all of a sudden a loud noise, like a timer, went off. Gabriel jogged over to a ladder that led up to a loft space above the stalls. "That's my cue to switch the heards. Go over ther with Sammy so you don't get trampled."

I walked over and stood behind a few metal bars with Sam as Gabriel told me to as he did his thing. "So, it's Sam, right?" I asked. He only nodded. Not one for talking I suppose. "How long have the two of you been together?"

"Three years."

"Are you still in school?"

He nodded. "Im going to be a senior this year. Gabe and I both will be."

"Oh. Any ideas on college?" He looked sorta sad when I said college.

"Yeah. I wanna go to Stanford, but im scared with the whole long distance relationship."

"Ah. Sorry to bring it up, I apologize."

"No it's alright. He doesnt know yet."

I nodded. "Is it tough at school with your relationship?"

His face brightened a little bit. "No actually. Generally, everyone is very accepting."

"That's great. I didn't have that luxury at school. Nobody accepted gays. My mom had to home school me mt last three years of highschool."

"Oh, Michael im so sorry. Youre gay?"

I chuckled. "Very, actually."

He smirked a little. "Hey, how old are you?"

I was slightly caught off guard but it was just probably nothing. "I am twenty-six. Why?"

He had that small smirk on his face again. "Just curious." That moment Gabriel joined us again.

"You boys can come out now."

"I did that, three years ago, Gabriel. Don't you remember?" Sam said. The barn door opened and Lucifer peaked his head through.

"Hey Michael, Dean has an update on your car."

"Alright, well thank you for the tour Gabriel." I said and walked back to the house with Lucifer.

"So Dean has some bad news, unfortunately. He says that your car needs some new part, im not too sure about all the details, but it'll take a few days to order and get the part shipped. You can go inside and give him a call and he can explain to you what's going on. The number is posted right next to the telephone."

I took a deep breath. "Alright thank you." We went inside and I dialed the number.

"Singer's Auto Repair, how can I help you?"

"Hello is Dean there?"

"Sure is. Give me one moment." I head a yell of 'Dean' in the background.

"Hello?"

"Hi Dean, it's Michael."

"Hey, Michael. So here's the thing..."

A/N: Yes kinda short and its been awhile. Im sorry, I procrastinate!
