Sawyer and I were heading outside when... an announcement was made from a tower that made a beeping sound twice, until a screen showed up. This tower was made shortly after the events of what is called "The Encounter", which was when we found that... creature during our battle with Razias.
A beautiful girl that looks as old as me spoke...
"Hello residents of Avaris, my name is Aria! I'll be making a special performance at the Flower Festival taking place today at midday. As all of you may know, this is the third celebration of this festival, and that is a reason to celebrate it in a new special way. Hehe! See you all then!"
Sawyer's gaze was still locked on the screen even when there was nothing being displayed anymore.
"She's, She's... beautiful!" That's true... her hair was dyed mint. She had long hair covering her left eye, she had a beautiful blue eye visible.
"Hopefully nowhere near as beautiful as me!" I said jealously and shot him an angry expression.
"Haha! Not at all! No, noooopeeee, nowhere as near!" Sawyer said nervously while flailing his arms.
"Too laaaateeee! I know you're-" I didn't bother to continue my sentence and I just tickled Sawyer down to nearby grass. "Haha!"
Sawyer laughed to as I rested at his side for a while. "I have special plans for today! We better get going to Blossom Park, the Festival will start in just an hour and thirty minutes!"
He stood up while I laid there on the grass, my pink dress extending with the green fields that it connected with, my white shorts slightly visible from under my pink flower patterned dress.
Sawyer helped me up and I admired his clothing whilst he did so. He was wearing black pants, a brown coat, and a plain white long sleeve shirt was hidden beneath it, though the coat was open and you could only see part of it.
"Fall asleep with your eyes open, princess?"
I wasn't only looking at him I was thinking of my dead brother... my twin, Iren. "Uh... what? Sorry, I kind of... got lost in space! Haha." I tried my best to hide it, but... my serious expression may have given away the fact that I still grieve him badly...************************************
There I was sitting beside Sawyer at Blossom Park, under a cherry blossom. "Isn't it nice here? That smell...! It's so nice!"
Sawyer was quick to smile and he rested his head on my shoulder. "Sure is... Wait here!"
He stood up and blindfolded me. "What's this about?" I asked eagerly while smiling.
"Don't take it off!" Sawyer said in a fun tone.
When he finally took it off... there before me was a picnic set up neatly. Sawyer got us tea, sandwiches, cookies, salad, and some cherry yogurt!
The tea was hot, and it smelled fantastic!
"Wow... this is amazing! Thanks Sawyer!" I said after I stood, and while jumping into his arms.
Sawyer was laughing. "It's nothing really, I just wanted to have a special time with you! And... we can part ways after this, so we can get the presents for the Gift of the Flowers celebration at night!"
Oh my! I felt horrible when he said that! I had forgotten completely about the Gift of the Flowers present for Sawyer!!!
"RIGHT!!! Let's enjoy our picnic and then meet back here after we get the presents and give them to the people in charge of that celebration!" I said trying to hide my forgetfulness and awkward feeling inside me.
We both sipped from our cups of tea, and had a great time. I was wearing the necklace Sawyer gave me. It's silver color shined brightly, and the yellow stone in it shone as well. It is truly a great gift he gave me... I hope I can get him a gift just as great, and if possible, even better!
