"Alright. Here's your homework for the day." He says as I pass it down the rows for the third time today. The bell rings just as I reach the last row and I quickly hand them the homework. They all leave and I sit back on the comfy spiny chair. I hear the door close, then I'm lifted off the chair and placed on a hard plastic chair. I Yelp in complaint but Jayden ignores me and sits in the chair.

"Ready for lunch?" He asks and I nod.

"Starving," I say and run to the door.

"Ok come on." He says and we walk out shutting off the lights. He locks the door and we make our way to the first floor.

"Come on." He says and we walk into one of the many restaurants in the cafeteria. It's fairly empty and we walk up to the lunch bar and pick our lunches and place them in the plastic containers. I have a salad and he has a hamburger with a small salad on the side.

We walk to the register and he pays. Then just as I'm about to pay he swipes his card again and I make a very unattractive sound in protest.

"Hey," I yell after the very unattractive sound and he smirks.

"Have a good day." He says to the lunch lady and pulls my arm to the teacher's lounge. Some kids look at me funny as we walk into the room with the glass wall connecting to the cafeteria. He quickly spots out Mrs. Lette and we go sit with her. She looks up from her schedule and smiles.

"I see you two are accustom to each other." She says and he nods opening his food.

"Well, I'd hope I'm accustom to my girlfriend." He says casually and I nearly spit my food all over Mrs. Lette. She just laughs with him like he didn't just admit I'm his girlfriend.

"You got your hands full I see." She says winking at me and my jaw drops. I knew she was mellow. But this. Who are you and what have you done with my counselor.

"I'm sorry?" I ask and she giggles.

"We have a lot of couple teachers here if you haven't noticed. With there being three buildings and over 250 staff in one building alone. It's perfectly fine. And he's what. 20? Your nearly 18. It's fine. I don't think there'd be a problem." She says and I nod like I knew what she's talking about.

"And he already told me you were dating. He just told me to act like I didn't. He wanted to see your reaction." She says and I have a hard face as I turn to look at him. All the teacher laugh with him as they see my reaction.

"You. Are so not welcome to my house till school ends." I say standing and walking out. The teachers laugh harder at what I'm assuming is his reaction and I can hear him get up to follow me apologizing. I take my phone out and plug my headphone in that block out all noise. I then turn up Work From Home by Fifth Harmony. I hum to it as I sit next to Vincent.

"Jayden." I snap when he grabs at my earbuds for the third time.

"I'm not changing my mind so get over it," I say and shove them back in. I could feel his anger but he just plops his ass into the chair next to me and crosses his arms.

"No need to pout. It's over in a week. I might even let you off for good behavior." I say and he grumbles something under his breath.

"What was that mister?" I ask and he shakes his head.

"That's what I thought," I say and go back to eating and listening to music. I could faintly hear some snickers from other students at the table no doubt they are part of the pack. Jayden growls at them and they all sober up quickly.

"Come on Dani. We have to get back to class. The bell is gonna ring soon." Jayden says gently taking out my earbud. I nod and stand up. On the way out of the cafeteria, I toss my plastic container into the garbage.

"Hey. I'm sorry I told Mrs. Lette, I didn't know that you wanted to wait to tell them. I should have asked." He says apologetically. I sigh and look at him, contemplating on what to say.

"Fine, I forgive you. but you aren't aloud in my house until tomorrow after school." I say and he growls softly but nods.

"Ok." He sighs when I give him a glare that leaves no room for discussion.

"Ready for the next class?" He asks and I nod.

"Normal class or an elective?" I ask

"Elective. Apparently my mom teaches Phycology." He says unlocking the classroom and walking in. I follow him in and leave the door open for the next class in a few minutes.

"Mr. Lionall?" A girly voice speaks from the doorway and we turn to see the school slut standing there in child's clothes.

"Yes?" He asks in a friendly voice and sits on the edge of his desk.

"I'm in your next hour, but I don't really understand how to do the homework your mom handed out before she left." She says innocently and steps inside.

"Well, let's take a look." Jayden says and stands up. She walks over to him and hands him the paper. He looks over it and nods.

"Pull up a chair to the other side of my desk, I'll help you with it." He says and she nods pulling a chair up and sitting. She makes sure to practically flash her breasts at him while she sits, but he is focused on her paper.

"Ok, so in this section, you have to label every part of the brain and describe all the phycological things that part does, in the next section, it's just vocabulary that you can find in the book on the pages given next to each word. On the last section, you need to write a short fictional story about a patient that has come to see you, the phycologicagist in this case, for help." He says explaining each part of the homework. In other words, reading the instructions in a different way so a 9th grader could understand it. Even though she is a senior.

"Thank you." She purrs and he nods.

"You can sit in a desk and do it if you'd like, class is gonna start in about five minutes." He says looking at his watch.

"You have until tomorrow to finish it." He says looking at her from the paper his mom left him.

"Everyone's short story is due tomorrow." He says when she smiles at him, like he just gave her extra time to do it, and her smile falters. She sits in one of the middle seats and starts working on her paper.

"Do you have plans for Friday?" Jayden asks turning to face me. Out of the corner of my eye I see Gretchen look at us and I smile at him.

"My brother was thinking about going to the movies with me. We always go to the movies together on Fridays, like a sibling bonding time. He wanted to take his girlfriend Friday but he didn't want me to feel like a third wheel." I say and he chuckles.

"Great, we will have a double date." He says and pecks my lips.

"You guys are dating?" Gretchen asks.

"Yes?" Jayden says looking at her.

"Isn't that against the law or something?" She asks

"Technically it is, but we were dating before I took my mothers job so she could stay with my pregnant aunt. So I don't really think that counts as dating your teacher. Plus she isn't my student. And everyone know even Mrs. Lette." Jayden says and she nods. Just as she is about to speak the bell rings loudly.

Yes, saved by the bell.
