Chapter 7

After the awkward dinner and Wendy left I had this sudden urge to barf everywhere. I had no choice but to reveal a part of my life I thought was behind. I knew that Wendy would of asked those questions and she would be looking into what I told her. So I didn't have a choice but to say some truth. I quickly changed into something more comfortable then a skin tight dress that Gemma sent with Jax. I could hear Jax walking down the hall. He stood in the doorway as I pulled my shirt over my head "feel better?" He asked I sighed "I couldn't breathe in that thing Christ where did your mother get that thing?" I asked "who knows. You did great tonight" he said walking closer to me "I know you have some questions Jax" I said looking down "doesn't matter right now. All's that matters is she bought it. She said that she won't fight me in court because she sees you as a fit mom for Abel" jax said putting his hands on my face and forcing me to look at him "jax..are you serious?" I asked smiling "absolutely, she just asked to be invited to the wedding" jax said I rolled my eyes "babe we gotta play it. I can't risk this" Jax said I nodded "I know. And I told you I'll do anything for you to keep Abel. He doesnt even know who she is" I said "your the only person I want near Abel" jax said "remember when you got taken. The night before what I told you?" Jax asked I nodded no "your always going to be my number one Harls, no matter who comes in my life its always going to be you" it played back in my head as he recited it. I remember it like yesterday. I looked deep into Jaxs eyes I felt something in the pit of my stomach. Something I haven't felt in a very long time Jax leaned down and kissed me. There it was again. This fluttering, cramping feeling. I like it. He pulled back and searched my eyes "what's wrong beautiful" he asked quietly I lost my voice. I couldn't speak whatever I was trying to tell him wouldn't come out. He looked harder. He knew what I was feeling and I think he could feel it too. "Harls." Jax said "I love you Jax" I said and covered my mouth as soon as I said it, what was I thinking "I love you too Harls" he said kissing me with such force.

It had been a few weeks since Wendy has come around, rumor has it she ended up relapsing so score for me in court. The court date was set for next month on the custody of Abel. I watched Harley and Abel interact every day and I wouldn't want anyone else to be involved in his life, she treated him as her own and I loved her for it. Our relationship, well it's rocky at times but it's better then ever. She's been super moody lately but I'm just writing off as PMS. When she got up this morning she headed straight for the bathroom emptying her stomach out. I got out of bed and walked over to the bathroom door knocking lightly
"You ok in there beautiful?" I asked with my head against the door
"Yeah I'll survive must of been some bad food I ate yesterday at the family dinner" she said opening the door and trying to kiss me

"Ew get off me with your barf breath. Hey, just wanted to bring this up quick are you sure your not uh... pregnant?" I asked she laughed

"No I'm not... wait.... fuck Jackson" she said running her hands through her hair. I noticed she was still wearing the fake engagement ring I gave her.

"Go out and get a test. babe, this is a good thing" I said wrapping my arms around her waist

Harley looked away "ok. But this isn't going to be this big deal if I am. I don't want Wendy using this shit in court against us it stays quiet until after court is resolved" she demanded, all's I could do was shake my head yes

A few hours later Harley called me and asked me to come home so we could look at the results together, when I got home Harley already had Abel bathed and sitting quietly infront of the tv watching Peppa pig we walked down the hall into the bathroom

"You ready darlin'?" I asked she had a look of worry on her face

"What if it's negative?" She asked

"Then it's negative, not a big deal Harls either way" I said opening the door, we both walked over to the bathroom sink Harley picked up the stick and smiled, she looked at me and showed me. Positive.

"I'm gonna be a mom!!!!" She cried I hugged her tightly

" Your already a great mom to Abel, what makes you think you wouldn't be to our kid?" I asked kissing her lightly she shrugged her shoulders

"Guess we've got a real reason to get married now" she said "better get me a better ring" she winked "don't worry babe ive got a few tricks up my sleeve" I said kissing her lightly
