**EDITING: I've edited it now so some parts just sound a lot better haha. When I first wrote this it was 2am so it's pretty shit. So these small changes should make it sound better xD**

It was 12am. I had just gotten of the plane in LA and I was so exhausted mostly because during half of the plane journey I was sat beside a mother and her baby, that would not stop crying. until they luckily got moved to the front of the plane after several passengers began to complain.

As I slowly walked to the front of the airport I looked out the glass doors to see that dark rain clouds had formed in the sky, I just hoped Matt and Ryan would be there on time and I wouldn't have to stand out in the rain. They were meant to be picking me up and taking me to Mark's to surprise him.

See, I hadn't talked to Mark since he told me he loved me. Yes, It was only a week ago...but it honestly felt like an eternity.
It all started when we were talking on Skype about how I was coming to Vidcon and how I would just stay at Mark's during that time, then one thing lead to another and as I was about to leave Mark ended up telling me about his feelings towards me, like how he had liked me for almost 2 years...But me being the fucking idiot I was, I didn't know what to say and I stupidly hung up on him.
Now skip forward a week in time. And here I was, in LA. And he had no idea.

As I walked outside I sighed happily when I saw Ryan's car. As I walked closer Matt got out of the car and greeted me with a hug before going back in to it.
"Hey Jack, how ya doing?" Ryan asked as he drove away from the airport.
"Pretty good. Just a lot nervous." I laughed in reply.
It was only a 30 minute drive from the airport to Mark's house so we got there pretty quick.

After dealing with road works and traffic, we finally arrived at Mark's. Ryan parked the car just across the street from the house.
Ryan turned to me just before I got out the car. "So you know what you're doing Jack?" He questioned.
"Yeh. Kinda. Bit late now to be deciding whether or not it's a good idea though." I laughed as I replied. I was honestly having so many second thoughts about this whole thing now.
It was Matt who spoke next, "Well I hope everything goes well dude. Message us if you need picked up. Ok?" He said with a friendly smile.

"Thanks, so do I" I laughed. "And would it be okay if you guys wait here...Just for like 5 minutes incase things don't go well?" My voice had a hint of doubt in it.
Ryan was the one who replied. "Yeh of course, what are friends for eh? Now get your ass out the car and go knock on his door." He chuckled as he spoke.
"Yeh. Sorry. I'm just preparing myself." I sighed as I laughed.

Matt and Ryan wished me good luck again as I got out the car. And I then began the walk up to Mark's door.
It was only a small path but my nerves made it seem like it was much longer.
As I walked up I could feel speckles of rain start to hit my hands and watched as the pale, dry concrete quickly turned into a dark and wet river.
As the rain feel harder I looked up at the house, His lights were still on, well, one light was on. It was the living room.
Soaking wet, I reached the dryness of the small over hang above the front door, I hesitated on knocking, scared that I would disturb him. I could hear the TV playing.

"Fuck sake Séan. You can do it. Stop being such a fucking wuss and just knock..." I thought angrily to myself. I finally plucked up enough courage and began knocking on the glass panel of the door.
I heard Chica start to bark and honestly thought about just bolting it, but then the sound of the TV cut out and was followed by the sounds of Mark calling at Chica.

"Chica, girl. Please be quiet! I don't need you waking the entire city of  fucking Los Angeles up at 1 in the morning."
I snorted to myself as I heard Mark get slightly annoyed but was quick to shut up as I watched the hall light turn on and stared as the dark silhouette of Mark got closer and closer to the door.
