It was wrong. He knew it was wrong. He knew that he shouldn't be thinking about her, but it was hard. That smile that just made you feel warm, her contagious laugh, and her beautiful personality. He didn't even realize it before, but he's always been in love with her and he might have missed his chance.

"I just- I just don't know what to do. I think I'm in love with her."

"Nick..." His brother Kevin started to speak. "How did this happen?"

"I don't know. I guess since we've been spending a lot more time together with just me and her I'm starting to see her differently. She's matured, I've matured I just can't stop thinking about her."

Kevin sighed. "I understand and I want you to be happy, but she's dated Joe. Do you know how uncomfortable that will be? What the fans are going to say?" He asked. "You, Joe, and I are already not in a good place with our music. You haven't even talked to Joe in weeks. You're going to put your relationship with your brother on the line. Is Demi really worth going through all this for?"

"Yes she is"

Nick sat at the restaurant waiting impatiently for Demi to come. Nick had paid for a private dinner just for the two of them. No words could describe how nervous he was. He was about to tell his best friend that he loves her. He's putting everything on the line, but to him she was worth the risk.

She walked in with her tan long legs wearing a short little black dress excited to catch up with her good friend. She walked to the table where he was sitting. "Hey Jerry." She said smiling.

He slightly smiled. He got up from his seat and hugged her. "Hello Demetria." He let go of her and they both took their seats.

They were laughing and just having a good time. Moments like this is why Nick feel hard for her. Being alone with just her and being himself is what he loved. He was able to just be himself with her. He knew that no matter what he did or what he said, Demi would still be there for him at the end of the day.

"So Nick what did you so badly want to talk to me about?" Demi asked curious.

"Close your eyes."

"Nick what are you planning?"

"Just close your eyes." He told her.

Demi didn't question any further and just closed her eyes. She stayed there waiting until she heard music playing. She opened her eyes to see Nick standing a couple feet away from her playing the guitar and starting to sing.

"A tornado flew around my room before you came
Excuse the mess it made, it usually doesn't rain
In Southern California, much like Arizona
My eyes don't shed tears, but, boy, they bawl

When I'm thinkin' 'bout you
(ooh, no, no, no)
I've been thinkin' 'bout you
(you know, know, know)
I've been thinkin' 'bout you
Do you think about me still?
Do ya, do ya?

Or do you not think so far ahead?
'Cause I been thinkin' 'bout forever (Oooh, oooh)

Or do you not think so far ahead?
'Cause I been thinkin' 'bout forever (Oooh, oooh)

No, I don't like you, I just thought you were cool
Enough to kick it
Got a beach house I could sell you in Idaho
Since you think I don't love you, I just thought you were cute
That's why I kissed you
Got a fighter jet, I don't get to fly it, though
