Chapter 1 (Jasmine and Kendo)

Jasmine's POV

"Nants ingonyama bagithi Baba Sithi uhm ingonyama!" I suddenly woke up from the sound of my alarm I used for my phone (yes those are the actual words for Lion King's Circle of Life, and it means "Here comes a lion, Father. Oh yes, it is a lion."). As the usual me, I stood up, did a couple of stretches,went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, and washed my face while still in my Nike sweaters and pajamas.

As I came out, I noticed Kendo (THE NEIGHBORHOOD KIDDOS REFERENCE OMFG) aka mah bestfriend is still sleeping. I decided to belly flop on him because he's such a sleepy head. He never wakes up on time. 

"BELLY FLOP!" I shouted.

"OUCH!" Kendo said.

That was the first response I got from Kendo, and it was unpleasant because of his morning breath that smelled horrible. 

"Get up, Kendo. We have a lot of places to go to. AND DO SOME GARGLING IN THE BATHROOM!" I say like a mom. 

"Okay. Jeez, Jas. Just get off of me." He says in reply.

Kendo and I became best friends since we were five years old. I think the reason why is we share a lot of similarities even though he's a boy and I'm a girl. We were both smart people who maintained their 4.0 GPAs ( GPA means Grade Point Average in case you didn't know). We both knew how to sing and dance. We both loved cooking. We both play piano and guitar, and both of our favorite sports are volleyball and badminton. Kendo used to play basketball, but he stopped because of what happened to his cousin. (basically his cousin slipped and then he got stepped on because he wasn't noticed so his ankle (as in the bone ankle) came out of the skin as blood seeps out okay imma stop right there.) By the way, if you're wondering why Kendo lives with me then here's the answer. Kendo's parents got into a car accident and did not survive; however, the car who crashed them survived. After that, my family decided to adopt Kendo as a legal son. (Not sure if we can do that but if not then let's pretend it's possible XD)

Kendo's POV

"BELLY FLOP!" Jasmine shouted.

At the sound of those words, my eyes began to open slowly as I stretch. I felt pain as Jasmine "belly flopped" on me. 

"OUCH!" I say in pain. 

"Get up, Kendo. We have a lot of places to go. AND DO SOME GARGLING IN THE BATHROOM!" Jasmine shouts as if she was a mom.

"Okay. Jeez, Jas. Just get off of me." I tell her as my response.

I gave her the "please get out because I wanna change my clothes after I freshen up" look. I'm guessing she understood me since she left the room right after. As I came out of the bathroom after I freshened up, I chose to look minimalistic. I chose my black Nike Sweater and some black pants that exactly fit my legs. For my shoes, I chose some Adidas Superstars. After that I chose to spray some perfume so I chose to spray some perfume.

As I came downstairs, I see Jasmine eating breakfast while Mom (Jasmine's mom) was watching Umagang Kay Ganda. I went up to Mom and did the "mano po." (mano po is what you say while you reach for the adult's hand to your forehead as a sign of respect. It's a Filipino traditio, and btw Umagang kay Ganda means "Good Moning" and it is a filipino show about news in the Philippines and other stuff.) 

"Bless you anak." she says in reply. 

"Oh mga anak pumasyal muna kayo sa SM at bumili kayo ng mga gusto niyo. May supresa ako sa inyo. Sasabihin ko sa inyo pag balik niyo." (it means "Jasmine and Kendo, go to the mall and buy anything that you want. I have a surprise for you. I'll tell you when you guys come home.")

"Okay po." Jasmine and I say in response. ("po" is what the young people say to the elderly as a sign of respect.)

"Go change your outfit, Jas. But make sure you're all white so we're yinyang together." I tell Jasmine.

"Will do. will do." Jasmine says in return.

Jasmine's POV

I run upstairs and go to my room. After I shower, I chose my white Adidas sweater and my white ripped skinny jeans. And then I chose my Adidas Superstars so we can literally match since that's what Kendo wants. As I go downstairs, Mom handed us 5,000 pesos each. Dang. Mom has been saving up. I wonder what the surprise is.

"Bye Mom! We love you!" Kendo and I shout in harmony.

"Bye mga anak. Mag-ingat kayo ha? I love you too." She says as she washes the plates in the kitchen. (Jasmine's mom said "Bye Kendo and Jasmine (although anak means son or daughter. Be careful okay? I love you too.)

HI GUYS OMG SORRY IF THIS CHAPTER IS SO SHORT AND SLOPPY. First of all, I just want to thank you guys for reading this even though it's not seen that much. If you can, please tell your friends who also likes Boysquad to read this too =). By the way, I might update everyday or at least alternatively after one day since I'm not that smart and it's summer here. I just need to focus on my stories. So like yea. If you guys are worrying about Boysquad and the others such as Bailey and Tati and other people, well don't worry. I'll be including them. Just wait for like a few chapters.
