Adrien and Marinette had decided to go to Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie, the bakery belonging to the Dupain-Cheng family, during their daily lunch break at school. After finishing their delicious croque monsieur sandwiches, the two teenagers nibbled on some soft, sweet croissants as they watched the local news channel. Nadja Chamack was giving a report on how much the crime rates had dropped over the past several months, ever since Ladybug and Chat Noir appeared. Of course, Adrien and Marinette did not care all that much for the publicity. It was enough to them to know that what they did had such a positive impact on the city.
With only a short amount of time remaining before their next class, the two teenagers began to clean up their messes. Marinette and Adrien said their genuine goodbyes to Marinette's parents before making their way back to Collège Françoise Dupont with their hands linked together. The two of them had confessed their love for one another a few months back. Despite the challenges that it may bring, the two had decided to attempt being a couple, or rather two because of their other secret identities. After all, superheroes deserved happiness just as much as anyone else did.
Adrien leaned down slightly to kiss Marinette gently as they approached the school's main entrance. Before they were able to enter the school building, though, several panicked students sprinted past them. Frightened shrieks from both students and teachers could be heard from inside the school. It was not very long before the two young teenagers discovered the source of all the screaming: another akumatized citizen terrorizing the school.
Adrien looked over at Marinette with a smirk. "Well, what are we waiting for, partner? We have an akuma to go catch."
