It was near midnight. I was just in my room, lying in my bed, and texting people. It was the typical teenage thing to do.
I don't even know why my house was quiet. Usually, my youngest brother Kai was playing his video games, while he had its soundtrack blaring from the house's speakers. Mom would get furious over it, threatening to take away his Xbox, but she never did. Dad would yell at him, constantly. But this time, all I heard was the crickets outside, and it was really nice for a change.
"Oh come on, just send some sexy pics! It won't hurt a bit!" I gasped quietly in surprise. It was from an older boy named Reed that went to the same school as me. I thought he was very attractive. After a careful two minutes of consideration, I took in a sharp breath.
"Okay..." DELETE.
No, that's too straightforward, I thought.
"Only if you..." DELETE.
That seems like I'm begging for something.
"I will in the morning. Now, goodnight." SEND.
I stared at the bright screen in front of my face for a while, not moving. After what felt like three hours, I turned my phone off, put it on my bedside, and looked up into complete darkness.
"Am I making a huge mistake?" I whispered aloud. I remained quiet for another few minutes.
"It doesn't matter. Reed will like me, and we will be happy. I'll finally have a boyfriend."
But sending naked pictures to him... Was that really the way to go?

Hello, everyone!
I'm Jamie. I know this is a bad prologue, but it's more of a sneak peek than anything!
Also, I'm currently in the hospital. I might not update this new story much... Not for a few days at least!
Anyhow, I'm not really an author, but this is based off a true story. You'll see what happens, but one of my childhood friends went through this a few years ago. I changed her name, and everyone's name in this story for privacy reasons. Some of the events in this story will have more dramatic emphasis than how the actual thing happened.
I hope this is more of an inspiration to speak up than a book that is just for the Genre type.
See you all soon, yay!
