Chapter 1

Marinette landed back on her room before midnight. She had again saved the day in Paris with Chat Noir. This time it was Booduu, Rose's father. He was acumatized like the others.

She was exhausted. Chat Noir had asked her again to reveal her identity but she declined.

"Tikki, I don't understand why he wants to know who I am..."

"Marinette! Obviously he likes you!"

"But he is in love with Ladybug, not Marinette..."

"You never know if he likes Marinette in person."

"Yeah... But I can't take that risk. Besides he knows the rules.."

"Oh boy not again..."

Marinette stood up with her index finger up walking back and forth reviewing the rules of a superhero.

"Okay Marinette... But at least give him a chance."

Marinette sighted and landed flat on her bed.

"Alright Tikki... But now we better sleep... I don't want to be late again."

"Okay! Bonne Nuit, Marinette!"

Marinette laid down and closed her eyes.

"Bonne Nuit, Tikki!"

Next Morning:

"Marinette!! Wake up!!"

"Huh?... "

*7:45 a.m.*

"Oh no!! I'm gonna be late again!!"

Marinette quickly got up and changed.

"Good Morning Marinette!"

"Uh? Bonne Appetite too, Mom!! Late. For. School. Bye!!"

"Nice to see you too..."

Marinette sprinted out of the door and ran to school. On the way she bumped into Adrien Agreste.

"Oh I'm sorry! Do you need help?"

Adrien offered his hand to Marinette.

"Huh... Umm.. Yeah... Your awesome~"

"What?"

"I-I mean!! I'm getting late!!"

"You too? Haha what a coincidence!!"

"Oh... Umm well bye!!"

"Wait! I mean... Don't you want a ride?"

"Are you sure I can?"

Adrien turned to his car. "Ummm I guess... I'll ask Nathalie."

Adrien walked over to the car window. Marinette waited impatiently.

"Yeah you can! Jump in!"

Marinette blushed and smiled.
She got in the car and sat next to Adrien.

"Nice car you have here..."

"Yeah... Its my dad's."

Silence.

"Marinette... You are running late, right?" Marinette nodded.

"May I ask why?" Marinette stood still. "Umm... I was busy helping my parents with the bakery! Hehehe...😁"

"Oh cool."

Silence.

"Can I ask the same thing to you?" Adrien scratched his the back of his neck and looked nervous. "I was... Um.... Cleaning my room!😅"

"Oh..."

Both arrived at school and went with their besties.

"Girl! Did i just saw you get off Adrien's car?!"

"Well yeah!!😄 He offered me a ride to school!! Turns out we were both late!"

"Well you guys are made for each other!"

"Yeah..."

The bell rang and everyone went to class.
