Rosy's POV:
Entering the ballroom heads were turned my direction. My hands began to sweat by the fear of getting caught by aunt Alexandra. I immediately turned back to look at Bella only to find out she wasn't behind me anymore. I desperately looked around and finally saw her dancing with a guy in a dark gray mask. I then made my way towards the bar and decided to get a drink to calm me down. The bartender was a young cute guy who kept glancing at me while preparing a drink for the guy who was sitting three seats away from me. He gave me a flirtatious smile before making his way towards me.
“Hey, can I help a beautiful young lady with something to drink?” he smiled and got closer to me. My body began to get tense, as I thought to myself what to drink.
I had never had a beverage with alcohol so I wasn't sure what to choose. My eyes searched through the menu and to my surprise there were just so many. Great, if I choose something too strong I'll probably regret it later. As I was freaking out the gentlemen that was sitting near me stood up and took a seat next to me. He placed his hand on mine, signaling me for me to calm down.
“She would like a glass of wine.” he was now smirking at the bartender, who was frowning and went off to prepare my drink. “Don't worry wine isn't that strong, actually it's not strong at all.” he smiled and then turned away, as if to hide his face.
He was wearing a black suit and mask. He smelled just wonderful and his smile had caused my stomach to turn. “Well thank you very much. I've never really had a beverage like any of these before, so you saved me from probably making a complete full of myself.”
“No problem, besides I kind of knew it from the moment you sat here.” there was a few seconds of silence between the two of us. Only staring that's all there was before the bartender came with my drink.
Zayn's POV:
We were now staring at each other. Wow she is just so breath taking, her eyes are just beautiful, everything about her is just perfect to me. Then the bartender came and handed her the glass of whine.
“Here you go, now is there anything else I can help you with.” he winked at her and my hand closed up into fists. This guy was really pissing me off.
“No I'm sure she's okay.” I replied while he glared at me in anger, “But you know what I think I'll have a glass of wine too, thank you.”
His furious expression gave me the satisfaction that I had gotten to him. He left and then came back with my drink. I starred at her as she took a drink. She then smiled at me and that's when I realized I was hooked. I was captivated by her beauty, all I wanted was to know who was hiding behind that mask of hers. I wanted to touch her smooth glowing skin. The more I looked at her the more I wanted to know her better. I wanted to stay by her side as much as possible. Then the thought of the bartender crept in and it just infuriated me to know that another guy could easily take her heart.
This feeling she gives me isn't something I could just shake off. Her smile made my heart beat faster than it ever had before. Her eyes made me forget of all the bad choices I've made and of those people whom I have hurt. My skin immediately reacts to her beautiful, somehow familiar, voice. This feeling is so different from how I felt towards Perrie. Could it be... that I have finally fallen in love again.
It scares me to think that maybe I have. She's perfect and I don't want to change her, anyone but her. It would kill me to break her heart, but I don't want to stay away. She's different, this situation feels different, I just know she's the one.
“So what's your name?” I asked while she finished her drink.
“For personal reasons I think it would be best to not know each others names … if you don't mind?” she smiled and then turned to look at the people dancing.
