Chapter 1

Lucy's POV:

Beep

Beep

Beep

"Ugh" I groaned, while trying to find the button on my stupid alarm clock. I had just realized how bright the sun was; it instantly made my mood lighten up. I decided to take a nice warm shower before heading off to the guil-" CRAAASSSSHHHH!!!!" a sudden crash sounded from my kitchen, thinking it was a burglar I took my keys and whip to go out and check the cause.

Just as I was about to call Loke, I saw a blur of pink and blue go past me out the window. "NATSU, HAPPY, YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR THAT!" I shouted at the duo. I decided to complain at the guild after seeing the time.

~Time skip~ At the guild.

I was sitting at my usual spot at the counter when a pair of familiar arms found their way on my shoulder." Yo Lucy." Said my best friend, partner, and crush Natsu Dragneel. "Hey Natsu." I greeted back. I saw that he looked kind of nervous so I decide to ask. "Natsu what's wrong?" " Um, I was wondering if you were still mad about me breaking your plate?" "Oh, not really, but I would like a new one." As soon as I spoke he looked instantly relieved. "Really? Then I'll go right away!"

He soon ran off and left me alone at the bar with Mira. "Hey Mira, can I have a lemonade?" "Sure Lucy." She replied as she went to the fridge to get me my drink. "Here you are." "Thank you."

After finishing my drink, I decided to go to the request board to look for a simple yet good paying job. " Mira, I'm taking this job, please." "Hm cake decorating, you should take Ezra long for this kind of job." Said Mira as she skimmed through the job. "I know, but she already headed out with Wendy." "Oh, okay good luck." "Thank you." This should be interesting, I thought while heading out of the guild.

~Time skip~ after the job

After I got my reward it was already sunset, thinking it was getting late I decided to head back home for a good nights sleep. On my way through the now silent streets of Magnolia, I started to develop a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. I pushed the though to the back of my mind, but decided to keep ANC eye out for trouble.

Just as I was rounding the corner of an alley, a figure clad in black pushed me to the ground.

"Hey, what was that for?" I asked calmly even though my heart was racing. The figure didn't reply though. It looked as if it was analyzing me. Taking that as aa escape, I gate up and started to inch away slowly. Just as I thought I had made my way out of that, a large hand grabbed me.

"Hey, stop it!" I struggled at the tight hold but couldn't get away. Then I just started to scream "Somebody hel- AAH!" the figure suddenly hit me with a black ball of energy, his aura reeking of evil. At that the figure dragged me away while I slowly slipped away from consciousness...
