A tall woman with dark eyes and hair walked at a brisk pace down Knockturn ally. She was headed for a small shop devoted to the dark arts. The door opened with the small tinkling of a bell.
Three men stood behind the counter. One a a younger man about 19 years old with dark hair that was slightly over grown along with slightly hollowed cheeks. He had on a dark suit with a silver snake charm. All of this seemed to suit him perfectly.
The other two were older and starting g to bald prematurely. Both wore finely tailored suits due too their line of work. All three look up as they here the door open. Wide smiles spread across the two older mens faces.
Borgin stepped out from behind the counter to meet the young woman. "Almana!" He gleefully called, how have you been?"
Almana gave a small smile as she returned the hug, "I have been doing quite well thank you. You seem to be doing quite well yourself. I have a few items that you might be interested in," she said as she glanced toward Burke.
The younger man stepped out from behind the counter, " I have an appointment to attend to." With that he gave a curt nod of acknowledgement to Almana and left the shop.
Almana watched the young man carefully as he moved down the street and diapered. She turned back to Borgin and Burke. Taking off her traveling cloak as she headed for the back room. "New worker?" She inquired as she pulled boxes out of her bag that varied in color and size.
"Yes. His name is Tom Riddle. He is a very good worker he can convince clients to part too part with their valuables. A lot like you now that I think of it," Borgin answered with a thoughtful look.
"Well thank you for that delightful insight. So I have a few cursed necklaces and diadem and a few other items." She kept her focus on the objects inside the boxes.
After an hour or so working out notations of the items Almana had brought from around the world on her many trips. She was sitting on the counter when Tom walked into the shop. He was holding a velvet bag in his hands. A smug look on his face. Tom set the bag down gently on the counter next to Almana. Then pulled out a small tiara that was ornately designed.
"My word Tom, I have been trying to get that for years. Good job my boy." Borgin clapped Tom hard on the back.
Almana gave a quick glance swallowing the bread that she was eating. "That's goblin made from around the 16th century. That is." Toms eyes snapped to Almana.
"Nothing gets past you," Burke said with a wide grin on his face.
"Yes well," Almana turned to pick up the tiara gingerly examining it closely, "I would price it at around 20,000 galions. The Diamonds are high grade." With that she hopped off the counter. She stoped on her way to the door to look at something.
"How much for the necklace?" Her eyes were trained on a necklace with a small silver snake on it.
"Tell you what you can have it for free. Just keep doing business with us." Borgin said with his version of a charming smile.
Almana grabbed the necklace quickly and went to open the door. She stopped right before turning the door nob. "Thank you. I should be back tomorrow I have a shipment coming in." She left the shop not looking back.
Tom turned to the two older men with a inquisitive look. Almana had peaked his interest.
"That would be Almana. She reminds me a lot of you. She gets us a lot of merchandise from around the world. Making her on of our main suppliers."
"She also does outside jobs as well." Burke interjected.
Tom kept all sings of interest off his face. "I think that I will take my leave early today. If that's alright?"
Borgin laughed, "Of course my boy any thing for you."
Tom walked to the door filled with a sudden interest. He aperated to his small barren apartment. Almana had the glint of a killer in her eye and Tom hoped that he would be able to use it to his advantage.
