No one's POV:

From afar Lucy's body looked like a shaking jellybean due to all her laughing.

As the young woman sat under the old, yet magical looking tree, one could definitely tell the wood there held precious memories from the small smile that graced her face.

But,

that smile soon disappeared as a rustling came from the tree branches directly on top of the blonde's head, and not a very subtle rustling, it was a very loud rustling that indicated something was about to pop out of its hiding place like an overexcited child
at a surprise party.

Yet to Lucy's surprise it wasn't an overenthusiastic child, but her own mother, who like an angel slipped from the branch she was perched on, to the mossy floor.

To say that Lucy was shocked was an understatement for the words that tumbled from her mouth amused her mother far more than she would've. liked it to.

"OH MY MAVIS AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD?!?"

Before Layla could even let out a much needed laugh at her daughter's childish exclamation, the said girl literally threw herself at her. If it weren't for the person standing behind them, they would've both tumbled to the ground.

As soon as Lucy's arms found her mother's back, another pair of arms, circled around them, and as if Lucy couldn't get anymore happier she squealed  when her bright eyes found her father's twinkling eyes.

And then she proceeded to laugh very loudly as she saw the leaves stuck in her father's short hair.

As Layla turned to see her husband she to, let out a short laugh while she picked out the small twigs from her love's hair.

Jude just let out a small huff that then turned into the biggest grin he could make as he saw the love of his life smiling and his little star laughing brightly. He couldn't get over the fact that they were united again, but then became serious as he remembered why he and his wife were visiting.

"Layla, I think we should tell Lucy what's happening before she brings up the fact that we just popped out of our tree like weasels." Jude said jokingly, but even a fool could see the small smile he had on didn't reach his eyes anymore. In fact, his eyes had shown a large amount of unleashed  fury. He tapped Layla and with a slight twitch of an eyebrow, he indicated Layla to look closer at Lucy.

Layla's hands rolled into fists as she saw the absurd amount of bandages covering her only daughters body, but hid her anger with a forced smile as she processed her hubby's words.

She  knew her husband was right, but hesitated as her eyes wandered to her princess's now matured face. She had missed Lucy becoming a young woman, and decided to marvel her child's elated face before she broke the news about their sudden visit to their daughter.

That was when Lucy lost her smile as she noticed her mother's face become grave.

"Lucy, there is a reason for our visit and I must explain it to you quickly. As much as I would've liked this to be a happy one, but it's not." Layla started.

"Lucy, we actually still exist. We did die, but thanks to your mother's powers, our ethereal bodies are still present." Jude continued.

Her mother spoke next.

"Your father is the ruler of the land and sea, and I the ruler of the sky.
Thus the reason why I had the power to save our souls and turn them into something like the spirits of the celestial magic. Now we would've liked to wait till you were atleast twenty to hear this, but time is not usually on one's side. You are Luciana Heartfillia, the heir to our thrones.
The reason why we came to you now was because there is a danger lurking in the shadows.
Rubin, your father's adopted brother wants to bring  heaven and hell together causing disruption for this world and others. We don't know the exact details, but an oracle foresaw a prophecy,
