"Mom. Dad. What is it. Please tell me."
"Ok. You know how your father has bee really sick the past week and how we told you that he was still going to work. Well we lied to you about the work part. We didn't want you to be worried"
"That's it? You pulled me out of school to tell me you lied to me? That couldn't have waited until tonight?" Ali said in furry.
"Well honey that's not all. Becouse of your father staying home for a hole week helots is job"
Wait. What? How. It was just a week!"
"Well. He miss a really big project he had a big part in. That's why they fired home."
"Omg!!! What does that mean for us? You don't have a job and now dad doesn't eather!! We are a jobless family!!!"
"Ali we would also like for you to start looking for a job too. To help the family and yourself. We also have to be very careful with the money we spend."
"Me get a job? Not right now. Maybe in a month but not right now." Ali said.
"Ok Huney. We understand. We know a lot is going on right now. You just have to be really careful with your money. We all do."
"Ok mom. Can I go back to school?"
"Yes. Just be home as soon as school gets out."
"Ok" Ali said as she ran out the door into her car and she drove off.
