Rise n' Shine

-"Rise n' Shine baby, is time to wake up or you'll be late for your first day in college" my mother's voice filled the room. I really didn't wanted to wake up, but I knew I had to or my mother would flip.

I went to the bathroom, stripped my clothes off and got in to the hot water, when I finished brushing my teeth and putting some splash, I went outside just to find my mom trying to look for a dress in my closet, and all I could think was "is she nuts?, I'm not wearing a dress for my first day in class" .

-"Mom, I really think I know how to dress myself so, can you PLEASE let me be?" I said to her, emphasizing the word please, she took a look at me and then left.

After searching trough my closet, I put on a black blouse, a black stripped jeans, a black belt, black high heel boots, black sun glasses and a red long cardigan and matching all that a black and gold backpack.

-"Zoé, It's getting late, and you need to eat something before you leave" my mother shouted from the stairs, I rushed down the stairs and went straight to the fridge, and made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, which by the way was delicious.

I saw my mom staring at me -"Zoé you need to start eating better or you'll get fat someday, just because you are skinny now doesn't mean you can't get fat" I heard she said while I was still remembering the taste of it.

-"How rude!" I said to my mother while taking a cup of coffee with me, taking my car keys and walking towards the door.

-"mhm" I heard my mom said from behind me, -"missing something?" She looked at me with my suitcase behind her.

-"maybe?" I said looking at her while making a really good apologetic smile. She raised one eyebrow while staring and I know she was getting mad, but since I love her so much -"was it a kiss?" I said batting my eyelashes, and now I could see a scowl, so I stopped.

-"I'm sorry mom, I was so excited that I kind of forgot about it, I promise I'll be better, ok?" I said while I was hugging her.

-"Ok, ok... Have a nice semester baby, ok? and behave" She said with watery eyes.

-"Mom, don't cry ok? love you, got to go" I said while closing the door behind me.

I got in to the car and drove myself to The California University, when I got there I checked my makeup and my hair bun and got out of the car.

I was walking towards the entry door while calling and searching for my best friend, when someone bumped in to me.

-"Watch it!" the unnamed guy said.

-"Mmm Hello?!, there is this thing in your face, called eyes, I invite you to use them" I said turning around to see him.

-"And who the hell are you?" He said while taking a cigarette out of the white box.

-"Someone who is definitely not interested in knowing you" I said while passing by him and rolling my eyes at him.

-"How rude!" I said to myself, getting in the big building and finding my best friend talking to some guy.
