What's up with Jho? Napaka sweet and clingy niya lately. Not that I'm complaining; it's just a nice surprise.

For the past week, she was always the last one to text at night, first one to call in the morning, the first one to make plans. She even made me breakfast one time. Ang gara ng lasa ng french toast niya pero she looked so eager nung titikman ko na kaya I ate it all na lang.

I hope she didn't notice the way my heart beats faster when she puts her arms around me, or the way my skin tingles when she holds my hand. Ever since the moment we had nung tinutulungan ko siya mag review, I felt like something changed between us.

We're on our way to Calamba for AV Skills Camp. We've been invited to coach young athletes and hone their skills in volleyball. It's a really fulfilling activity and one of the benefits is I get to do it with Jhoana.

We were up late last night watching the whole SAW saga so I was yawning a lot on the ride to Laguna.

"Halika nga dito, matulog ka muna." Jho pulled my head and placed it on her shoulder.

"You're too small," I complained.

She rolled her eyes and put a pillow on her lap. I grinned. Yan ang gusto ko kay Jho eh. Mabilis kausap.

She stroked my hair and I immediately fell asleep.

A few hours later, Jho poked me awake. "Andito na tayo, beh."

I rubbed my eyes and yawned as we walked towards the open court. The fans were already there and crowding around us.

Suddenly, Jho grabbed my hand and tugged at me. I looked at her in surprise and she just smiled.

"Baka mawala ka eh." It made my heart flutter again and I just let her pull me around as we waded our way into the court.

"Palit na muna kayo," Ate Ly handed us our Ultera jerseys. We looked around and the restroom was too far away. Ate Aly seemed to detect our concern.

"Dun lang kami nag palit sa sasakyan eh." She commented.

Jho and I shrugged and proceeded to walk towards the car.

"Hoy, sakin yan!" I pointed at the number 14 shorts she was trying to put on.

She giggled and stuck out her tongue. "Hayaan mo na. Hubarin ko pa ba?" She raised her eye brows.

"Nevermind." I said and pulled up her number 15 jersey shorts.

After we changed clothes, we walked to the side of the court where a briefing was being held.

"Pagawa na kayo ng nametag." They ordered.

"Jho na lang ilagay mo," Jho told the girl making the nametags. Before she could give the nametag to Jho, though, I tapped her.

"Gusto ko rin, Jho." I grinned at the girl. She offered the nametag to me and she proceeded to write another one for Jhoana.

Jho rolled her eyes at me and told the girl, "Bea na lang ilagay mo." The girl just smiled and said "Ang cute niyo po."

We just laughed. Now donned with our mismatched nametags, we proceeded to the center of the court for stretching.

Jho has always been my training buddy so we paired up and started stretching near the net.
