CHAPTER 15
Allison's POV :
It was a nice day in Beacon Hills today. But that didn't mean in any way that this town was rid of it's crazy supernatural problems..
If only we could all just relax, sit back and take a break from all this.
Oh wait, reality is a definite pain in the ass.
"Scott, not now! We have to make it to Derek's in time." I said to Scott, as he flirtatiously moved closer to me.
I was in the driver's seat and had just picked up Scott. We were all supposed to meet up at Derek's.
As much as I hated him, he was crucial at the moment, considering all the knowledge he had and what Peter could offer. And to flood my mind with feelings, in between all this tension, really Scott?!
Almost as if he read my thoughts, he decided against his next action.
"Oh, I'm sorry." He moved back in his seat.
"But it's hard, Allison. Not to be able to talk to you all day long, not to be able to kiss you good night, not to be able to hold your hand when I feel the world is coming crashing down, not to be able to sneak out at night just to see you, not to be able to tell you ... that ... I ... " he stopped and took a deep breath and said,
" I mean, how do you look at the person you love and try to tell yourself, to stop?!"
Scott gazed into my eyes. I felt our heart beats synching.
" Scott, I ..." I tried to reply, my eyes welling up with tears.
He silenced me with his finger and planted a kiss on my cheek.
"Let's head to Derek's." He said responsibly.
I nodded in agreement and decided to deal with my forbidden love issues later.
I started the car and the engine roared to life. I knew it was going to be a long ride and I wasn't looking forward to it. I mean, it was hard enough, staying away from Scott, in school, where I was constantly surrounded by people, but now, to be alone with him for a really long drive and to have all my unresolved emotions rise to the surface, I hope I make it. I hope "we" make it, I said to myself, my silent prayer drifting into the night.
"So you're trying to say that Stiles is having trouble making it? C'mon! He's the one who came up with this whole idea, what are we gonna do without our little genius?" Scott whined.
"Apparently, Charlie is over and he's having trouble shooing her away." I laughed.
"Probably, because he likes her." Scott smiled.
"No kidding." I replied sarcastically.
"Wait, she knows?" Scott asked excitedly. He was so sweet, always feeling overjoyed and excited for his best friend.
"Well, she's blind, if she doesn't." I replied.
"Stiles, well, he always considers the least for himself, you know. So to have someone to give him what he deserves, would just be... amazing." Scott said.
"I know." Was all I could say to that. I mean, Scott was definitely right.
But but, oh God! Just the other day, the way Charlie was talking about Isaac, I knew, there was something there. Crap!
Just then my phone buzzed and I shushed Scott, because, it was Dad.
"H-hey dad!" I managed to say as cheerfully as I could.
