"Sister!!" a sweet childish voice rang over the field to where a young girl was sitting at a deep creek,
A voice like this rang too sweetly to this girls ears, as though a pin pricked her ear,
The sound of her sisters voice made her cooly furious,
"Tis to be here I am for sure half wit. where else be I at this time?"
Heeding no attention to the harsh cutting words as usual the little four year old danced around her elder sister and laid a wreath of wildflowers upon the shiny dark hair,
"Sister, How be you today?"
"The same I be everyday, Sick and tired of this folly for sure"
Again, seeming not to hear this words, the little girl spoke,
"Today, I was watching two parent birds make a nest for the one little bird, The little bird was so young, and his parents fawned over him so!! How joyous would it to be an only child with none other to take the parents affection?"
"To be sure, as I have known, It is joyous and merry!"
"Is that so sister"
"But Twould be none other!"
Seemingly distracted by something in the dark water, she leaned over the edge of the sharp drop off into the creek,
"Sister!! A beautiful fish swam by, oh what wonderful colours it had upon its pallet!!"
"Stand near the water I shall not, For it is known news that I cannot swim"
"Oh please sister! It is so pretty, Do come look"
Curiousity having killed the cat. the elder girl leaned lightly over the edge,
But a push would send her tumbling to the deep water,
But a push, was all she needed,
And but a push, was all she got..
**SPLASH**
The little girl straightened and looked on with steely eyes,
"No longer do you keep this folly over the eyes of others, For no longer will you need to, for no longer shall you walk this earth with those upon hear the words you speak."
The splashing died down, and all that was left was a floating wreath, drifting down the creek with the gentle flow,
Away skipped a cheery girl with a song on her lips, and a secret in her heart..
