My Girl

Part 3

Morning finally came around so I rolled out of bed and pulled on my clothes for the day. 

Abercrombie shorts and my South Beach tee with a pair of black vans. Casual. 

I made my way to my bathroom, picking up dirty clothes on the way. I threw them in my hamper and shut my bathroom door. I looked at myself in the mirror and felt nothing. I've never felt any kind of "beautiful" in my whole life. I wasn't anything compared to Erin, she was gorgeous. 

I ran my brush through my hair and turned on my straightener. As I was waiting for it to heat up I put on a coat of mascara, a light shade of eye shadow and topped it off with clear lip gloss. I looked at myself again and sighed, picked up my straightener and ran it through my hair.

"Olivia are you up there?" 

I jumped. It was Erin. 

I didn't say anything, I turned off my straightener and ran down the stairs. She was waiting on me with a smile on her face. As I reached the bottom of the stairs I jumped into her arms.

"I missed you so much" 

"I missed you too! When Austin called me I knew something was wrong. He sounded really concerned"

"He did?" I smiled and my face lit up. Erin gave me a counfused look causing me to look down. "I mean.... he did? Wow." I tried to cover up all my lies. 

Austin was worried about me. 

"Do you think you're gonna be okay?" she lifted my chin up and looked at me. 

No.

"Yeah, I should be now that I actually have a friend here"

We went downstairs and saw Austin still asleep on the couch. His brown curls rested on his forehead and he had a smile on his face. 

I wonder who he was dreaming about.

Olivia snap out of it. You're obviously still in love with Ben.

"Can we go to the beach? It's been forever since we've been there!" Erin was already packing her beach stuff before I could even answer. I guess what's a yes. 

I got into the refrigerator and grabbed a water, as I shut the door Austin was standing right there, I jumped. 

"Why must you always do that?" I asked annoyed.

"Do what?" he smirked. Quit being so cute. 

Wait what.

"Is it okay if I come?" he already knew the answer. Of course he just invites himself anywhere since Alex is in Texas.

We made our way out of the house and to the beach. Of course we had to stop a couple times along the way so Mahomies could get pictures. I honestly don't think any of them liked me. I was a girl associated with Austin. If they ever got there hands on me it would be the end right there. But of course I loved them, they were the reason why my best friend was living his dream.

We found our place on the beach and we put suncreen lotion on. It was so easy to get a sunburn in Miami. 

Austin handed me the bottle. "Would you mind putting some on my back?". He took his shirt off, leaving him in his shorts. I could watch that in slow motion all day. STOP.

I took the bottle and put some in my hand, rubbing it on his back, back and forth. His skin was so soft. God Olivia what's wrong with you. 

Of course we all got some weird looks, I was friends with Austin Mahone. 

I looked in another direction to find Erin, she was nowhere. Then I saw her. Of course talking to some gorgeous guy, because she was gorgeous herself. 

Austin and I looked at each other, he shrugged. 

"Let them have their fun, more for us," he winked at me and helped me up, making our way over to the water. I wondered why Austin was being so flirty since my breakup. It was just making me go even crazier.

I was still thinking about Ben. I miss his calls, his voice, his everything. Why was I waiting for him to call? I don't know. When he said it was over I lost the biggest part of me. How was I ever going to get over that?
