Prologue
'Seems like yesterday I was thinking something so good couldn't come my way.' I thought to myself as I walked down the aisle of the church.
All the people were starring at me with wide smiles on their faces. I can't even lie, my smile matched theirs perfectly.
I held my head down and proceeded to walk. The aisle's only about fifty feet, but I feel like it's taking me two hours to get to the end.
Holding back tears made me feel lightheaded so I gave up and let them flow down my face. I hadn't realized I stopped walking and was at the end of aisle until my husband to be wiped my tears away.
The preacher said a few words to him and he repeated them. When he looked at me I could barely concentrate, the butterflies in my stomach hadn't left and they're making it painfully clear that they don't wanna leave.
I eventually came to after my sister cleared her throat. Repeating the words the preacher said to me put a big smile on my groom's face.
I had toned out and didn't even hear him say I do, but when the preacher looked at me like I was crazy, I knew it was my turn and I had kept them waiting.
"I do." The words came out more excited than I had intended but that's okay.
"You may now kiss the bride."
Those were the last words I heard before the doors slammed open and everything went black.
