Chapter one

       As I was walking through the hall of my school I felt the normal sense or eyes staring at me. I got used to it, since I never got a break. I was walking with my friends to our classes and we all stayed silent. I was the shortest of the bunch. Because of my unappealing height I never understood why I had such popular friends. My friends where,

Garroth, kind and respected one of the bunch

Katelyn, tough, smart jock that found me behind the bleachers

,Jeffory, understanding, and boyfriend to katelyn.

Travis, flirty Casanova.

And me, Aphmau Phoenix, nerd and shorty of the bunch.

When we all got friendly towards each other months ago, we formed our group and never separated. The only problem was that there was a tougher group in the school, the shadow Knights , or so they called them selves... They had four people,

Gene, leader with black hair.

Zenix, shorter than Gene with brown hair.

Sasha, the girl in the group. She had white hair and purple eyes.

And finally, the Casanova of the bunch...

Laurance, Casanova , flirt, handsome, he didn't really fit in with them... He was trouble but he didn't spray paint the school with his own pleasure of watching the Higher student suffer... What was I saying?!

Laurance was the "dreamboat" of the school with Garroth as the "prince" we ran into them turning a corner of the hallways. Katelyn ran into Gene, Travis ran into Sasha, Garroth ran into Zenix, and I got bumped into by Laurance!  I dropped my books when we hit and lost my glasses, I started searching the floor for them, I felt someone tap my shoulder with my glasses, they put them on my head and I started getting my books and he started helping. When we stood up he gave me my books and smirked. I didn't care. He was a stupid shadow knight! Why was he helping me?! I gave him a questioning look and he just smirked again and headed to his group with wide eyes and mouths agape. I walked to my group and saw that they where doing the same thing to me...

"What? He just helped me with the...books..." I realized how weird it was and did the same thing as my friends... Eyes wide and mouth agape...  I looked at anyone and everyone for an explication about what just happened... They all shook their heads and looked at me... I don't even know what happened!

I looked over at the Shadow Knights... They did the same expression for longer and looked at Laurance... He was leaning against his locker staring at me with a smirk tugging at his lips, I felt my face get warm. Gah!!! Why was I blushing?!? I just looked away and headed to class leaving the group of people that were wondering if that actually happened... I knew that was real because he put my glasses on my head... EHHH WHY DID HE DO THAT?!?! I yelled in my head... But I just saw some people stare at me with confused eyes, so I ran to the main hall and sat there waiting for the last few minutes went by... When I heard the bell ring I ran to my locker and got my stuff. I closed it and went to the entrance... Gah!! I got pulled away from the crowd of students and ended up in a small room with, Laurance?! I gave him wide eyes and he smirked... Why does he Always do that?!

"Do what?" He said chuckling... Oh no... Do I have a problem with talking aloud?!

"... Yeah I think you do have a problem..." He said smiling... For the first time I actually took a look at mr Meteli.. I saw he had baby blue eyes and ruffled light brown hair...

"..." He gave me a blank stare...

"Shoot!" I said blushing. He looked at me smiling, he didn't hear that.
