I press my face against his chest, listening to his heartbeat, and close my eyes. Even after the terrible nightmares, all I truly need is him to calm me down. They are nightmares of having him leave without a trace, and one day, they find his body. Gruesome, I know. They come from somewhere, the past. The horrible past, that the nightmares make me relive again and again to the point where I feel like I'm going mad.

I'm breathing deeply, trying to calm myself down. I feel the mattress under me shift.

"Kurt," I say, pushing a blonde lock of hair out of his eyes. "what woke you?"

"You. I felt you move, I was expecting it though." He embraced me, which was more comfort than I needed, but I loved it. His warmth.

"Are you excited?" I ask, gently pulling away from the hug.

"Yeah," he says, smiling at me and lying back down "soon you'll be Mrs.Cobain."

That's right, I was marrying a rock star. It's no different than any other relationship, other than the drug addiction and crazy fans. My life is hectic, but he makes it all worth it.

"Kurt?" I know it's rude to wake him again, but I need someone to talk to.

"Yes?"

"I can't sleep."

"Don't be scared," he wraps his arms around me and I rest my head on his shoulder, closing my eyes.

"I love you," I kiss his cheek, lingering.

"I love you too," he whispers, touching my face softly.

This was it, the day of the wedding.

"You look amazing," Kurt brushed my hair away from my face and I blushed.

"You do too," I stand on my toes to kiss him. He wasn't wearing a normal tuxedo, and I wasn't wearing a typical wedding dress. This was casual.

The wedding was outside, on the beach. We had invited all of our friends, and the sand was lined with chairs.

"Hey," Dave walked up to us and kissed me on the cheek.

"Woah, there, she's mine!" Kurt said jokingly, wrapping his arm around my waist and pulling me in closer.

"Sorry!" I say sarcastically, shrugging and hugging Kurt back.

"Krist! Hey!" I hear Kurt shout, he's with his good friend, Krist.

"I'm really happy for you," Dave said, smiling at me. "Kurt's a really good person." Dave had always been a good friend.

"Time for the wedding!", one of the guests shouted. This is it. The big day.
