Chapter 1




"Dear diary, This is my first day writing for you, so let me introduce myself. My name is valentine but i'd rather be called 'val' or 'tina', I'm 17 and I love one direction, and justin bieber. (yes, I'm just your average teenage girl) I live in LA and my best friends are austin mahone and janessa ramos, they are the best friends anyone could ever have and I'm lucky their mine! and well theres this one guy that I've been in love with for about a year. The way he smiles, the way he laughs, the way he just looks at you, everything about him is perfect. The only thing is... I'm just a fan. I wish he would notice me out of all the 100,000 girls trying to get him to notice them but he doesn't. It makes me sad falling asleep knowing that I'm in love with one guy and he'll never love me back.. I love you cameron. Love, Valentine ♡"


*next morning at school*

"Hey val!" Janessa runs up to me in the hallway.

"Hey ness."

"what's wrong?"

"nothing, I'm just not feeling it today.."

"have you seen Cameron's latest vine?!" janessa yells as her eyes brighten up.

seriously janessa, are you really asking that, he's the love of my life of course I've seen his latest vine it's not like I'm going to ignore it.

"Yeah, I saw it last night. It's so cute!" I reply calmly.

The bell rings for class, and a lot of annoying ignorant people just run around all over the place trying not to be late.

"Austin said he's gonna come pick us up so we don't have to go to class, you down or what?" Janessa says as she leads me into the bathroom with her.

"Hell yes, I'm down. I need to get out of this stupid hell."

"Well let's go wait outside then."

While we were waiting outside everyone was leaving the school trying to skip, people are so funny these days. I wish cameron went to my school, and I would tell him how nice he loo-

*Austin honks super loud*

"Austin, what the fuck?! Do you know how many girls are going to come outside when they find out that you're here?! a lot! so you better not make anymore noise because I'm not ready to get in a big mess for being with you." Janessa yells at Austin, while hopping in the front seat with him.

Let me tell you the story about Janessa and Austin. Janessa met Austin at one of his concerts (yes, I was there. yes, I'm a fan of him. yes, she was/is too.)
They had been direct messaging on twitter for a while before the concert, and Austin really seemed to like her as more than a friend, Austin gave us free tickets to the show and they met for the first time. After that they started dating and now he's my best friend along with ness. It's so weird how that happened, but I'm glad it did. The only bad thing about it, is how they have to keep it on the down low because a lot of people will give them a lot of shit for being together.

"Hey babe.. oh and hey val!" Austin says sarcastically after he kisses and squeezes ness.

"Hey Austin. thanks for picking us up." I just stare at them, and look at how cute they are. You can tell they love each other so much and I feel so bad because it must be so hard to keep their relationship a secret.

"No problem, val! What do you girls want to do? Fro yo? Movies? Mall?"

"Austin, you know we can't do any of that right now. People will find out about us and I don't want you to get hated on." Janessa snaps.

"Shit. I wish people would let me be happy with who I'm with." Austin seems really sad.

"Why do you say that? Your mahomies are always tweeting you up telling you they love you for you are and they'll be happy no matter who you're with." I say, but I know even though his mahomies say that, they'll always have that little bit of sadness inside them that the person austin is in love with isn't them.

"I love my mahomies, don't get me wrong, they're the best. I just can't stand those people who put me down just because I'm in love with someone." Austin looks at janessa. Janessa shoots a look at Austin trying to hold back her tears and reaches for the volume switch to turn the volume up.

The rest of the ride was silent. Janessa's iPod was on shuffle and the music was pretty bad, not gonna lie. Janessa had fell asleep and Austin was concentrated on driving. But then "Hold on we're going home" by drake came on and the first thing I thought about was cameron.

"Turn it louder!" My head shot up and my eyes got wide.

"Girl, chill! We're already at Starbucks!Wake up ness, I'll be inside." Austin said.

"Ness.. Ness... JANESSA!!" I slapped her in the face. But hey, it woke her up.

"What, bitch?! Where the fuck are we? Starbucks? Where's Austin?! I told him not a public place. It's whatever, I guess." Ness said super fast, I barley heard her.

"Ness, calm down. There's probably only a couple of girls. It'll be alright. Lets just go in, get some Starbucks, and chill. You guys can't hide forever. C'mon, Austin's waiting for us."

We walk inside Starbucks and see a group of girls surrounding Austin. Ness and I are still getting used to seeing him getting attacked by so many people and it's just so unreal.

"Janessa! Valentine! Over here!" Austin screams at us. There's a police trying to get the girls away from him so he can get into the line to order. We finally get to him.

"Ladies, wait over there please. This young man came here to order some Starbucks give him space." The awkward mean looking police tried to get us away. Knowing janessa, I knew she would she would snap at him.

"Who do you think you are?! This young man has a name, it's Austin! and I'm his fucking girlfriend so you back away from me!" Janessa ran to Austin, and Austin held her in his arms. Most of the girls gasped and are super confused. Shit... now about the 30-40 girls in Starbucks know that Austin has a girlfriend. I don't know if this is good or bad.

"Austin, I'm sorry. I swear I didn't mean to say anyth-"


"Babe, it's alright. This probably happened for a reason." Austin cut off janessa, while letting the cop know that janessa and I are with Austin.

My phone lit up.

wait.. did I just see that..... CAMERON FUCKING DALLAS IS COMING TO LA AND I GET TO MEET HIM! WHAT IS LIFE?! IM SO HAPPY!

"JANESSA!! AUSTIN!!! CAMERON IS HE IS YES HE IS!" I jump up and down while trying to talk.

"He is what? Val, calm down, what happened!?" They both say.

"HES HAVING A MEET AND GREET IN LA!!!!!!!" The whole Starbucks can hear me at this point.

"YAY!!! IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU VAL! YOURE FINALLY GOING TO MEET CAMERON! YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR THIS MOMENT! I CANT WAIT!" Janessa jumps up and down with me while Austin orders our Starbucks drinks.

"Um.. Hi.. Are you really Austin's girlfriend? and are you valentine? Austin's bestfriend? Can I take a picture with you all?" A girl, that looks about 15, wearing black shorts, with a gray cropped shirt with a flannel tied around her waist comes up to us.

"Yeah, of course!" Janessa and I say at the same time.

After taking that one picture, about 30 girls came up to us asking to take pictures. It was such a rush. I don't know how Austin could do this on a daily basis. It's crazy. We got our drinks and Austin took me home. Janessa spent the rest of the day with Austin.


"Dear diary... Today I took pictures with my bestfriend Austin's fans. They were so sweet, I thought they would hate me and ness but they loved us. I'm really glad they did. On the other hand, IM GOING TO MEET THE LOVE OF MY LIFE. I CANT WAIT. IVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG, AND THE TIME HAS A FINALLY COME. NO ONE KNOWS HOW HAPPY I AM. I LOVE YOU CAMERON! Love, Valentine ♡"
