Hermione's POV:

"Scorpius." I said.

It had just come into my mind.

I don't know what it symbolizes, but it seems fit.

Draco smiled up at me.

"I love him, Hermione. Thank you." He said.

"You're welcome. I thought that you might like him." I said.

"Thank you, Hermione." He said.

"You're welcome, Draco." I said.

A thought came into my mind.

It wasn't a good one.

I slumped down onto the bed.

"Great." I said.

Draco looked at me.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Tomorrow's restock day at my café, and I don't have the money to pay for it. I didn't even have enough to pay for the kitten, but the attendant gave him to me anyway. Now I have absolutely nothing in my wallet." I said.

Draco smiled.

I scowled.

"This is not a time to be smiling." I said.

"No, of course not. I just have a solution." He said.

I watched him as he got up and walked over to his dresser.

He picked up his wallet and walked back to me.

"Here." He said, pulling out a crisp $100 bill.

I gaped at it.

"Thanks, Draco." I said eventually.

"You're welcome." He said, smiling.

"How many of those do you have in there?" I asked, pointing at his wallet.

"Six. And 5 $50s." He said.

"How...?" I asked.

"I'm the technical manager at London University." He said.

"How much each year?" I asked.

"97,000." He said.

"Wow..." I said.

"Wait. Who will watch the animals while we're away?" I asked.

"Oh. I work from home." He said.

I nodded.

"Come with me. I'll show you my office." He said.

We rose from the bed.

Draco led me to a giant room.

It had three giant laptops and a giant flat screen TV.

It was amazing.

"How did you afford all this stuff?" I asked.

He smiled.

"It's all on a grant from the administrators of the university." He said.

"What do you do?" I asked.

"I keep the internet running and the power up. If the power is down, I'm the one to use these high-tech computers to get it started again." He said, motioning to the computers.

"And I can do it all at the touch of a finger." He added.

"That's so cool." I said.

"It is pretty cool." He said.

I nodded.

"Well, now you know about my job. What else do you want to know?" He asked.

I thought.

"How much you love me."

Draco's job is actually my dad's job.

I'm not creative.

Except my dad isn't at the University of London.

And my dad has to actually go to work.

Oh well.

Well, I hope that you like this update.

Lots of love and Potter vibes, Vanessa
