Falling for Him (A Sebastian Stan Fanfic)

In Too Deep?

Chris's POV
Chris shut the door to Kate's apartment but couldn't keep from laughing. Sebastian, who was already about ten feet in front of him, turned around and stared at him confused. "What's so funny?"
"Nothing I was just messing with Kate." Chris said as he finally caught his breath. Chris got to his car before he realized Seb was trailing behind him. "You wanna know what happened don't you?" At this point in their friendship Chris has worked with Sebastian long enough to know what his silence means without even asking. "I mean kind of.." Sebastian trailed off. 'Kate's gonna kill me' Chris thought. "Just don't mess with her too much about it okay?" Sebastian gave Chris a 'really' look but nodded his head for him to to continue. "While I was going through her movies I saw Fifty Shades in there, I was hinting to her that I found out she was into that stuff but I'm not sure she caught on, so basically I just confused her." Chris unlocked his car and both of them got in the car before Chris started the engine. "That's it?" Sebastian said breaking the silence. "It was funnier to see her facial expressions, I think she caught on by the end." Chris laughed. Sebastian started laughing too. "Do you think she really is?" Chris turned his head from the steering wheel to look at Sebastian. "Is what?" Chris asked.  Sebastian started laughing as if it was obvious. "Into that stuff Chris." Oh? Chris thought. "I hadn't actually thought of that..." Chris has noticed Sebastian every now and then would shift in his seat, but he didn't pay much attention to it. He was pretty sure he knew where Sebastian's mind was.

Kate's POV
Currently I was thinking over all of today's events. I must have stared at my pile of DVDs for a good ten minutes after they left. I can't believe I forgot that my mom bought me that. I started to rinse out the conditioner in my hair as I started to laugh. God only knows what Chris is thinking right now. I put my face in my hands when I realized that he probably told Sebastian. I turned off the water and decided it was too hot tonight to dry my hair, so I left it in the towel.

I was putting my movies away and stopped when I reached Fifty shades. My mom got this for my last birthday when I told her I was reading the books. She was the only one I told about me reading them, mainly because everybody calls it porn, but I had to know why everyone wanted to read it. I never saw the movies though, and she must of thought it a clever idea at the time.

I got up from my position on the floor to check my work schedule. Tomorrow was Sunday and another day off thankfully. I had work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday eleven a.m. to eight p.m., and Thursday nine a.m. to nine p.m. Ugh we must have new models coming in. It's not that I dislike my job, I enjoy it a lot actually, it's just that when we get new models it's painting the same suits over and over again. Some variation would be nice.

I walked back over to where the DVDs were and put them all away but one. Fifty Shades of Grey. I read the books I might as well watch the movie.

I was only a short distance into the movie when my phone rang. I picked it up and answered while keeping my eyes focused on the screen. "Hello?" I said. "Hey Kate? I wasn't sure you'd still be up." It was Sebastian. I forgot my tv was still on and the volume was up when I heard Christian Grey say 'Laters Baby'. "Uh what was that?" Sebastian started to chuckle while I frantically searched for the remote and pressed pause. "Nothing just the radio." I mumbled hoping he'd believe me. "What's up?"
"Ha okay, well not much but did I happen to leave my phone on your couch?" I looked on the cushions but didn't see anything. "Hold on I'll check!" I lifted each one up and sure enough there it was, under the middle cushion. "Found it! But wait how are you calling me?" "Sweet thanks! I'm still with Chris and noticed my pockets were empty, so I'm using his phone." It was silent for a moment after I said 'oh'. "It's pretty late and I don't want you to have to go through any trouble. Are you free tomorrow? Maybe I can get it then." Sebastian continued. I could feel my heart start to beat faster just thinking about him. "I should be free, what did you have in mind?" "Umm..." I started to laugh realizing he hadn't gotten this far. "Hold on a second." "Okay." I replied. I could hear Sebastian talking with Chris but I couldn't quite tell what they were saying. "Kate you still there?" Sebastian asked into the phone. "Yeah I'm here!" "Would you be able to stop by Studio Ten around ten a.m. tomorrow?" "Sure, how come?" Just then I heard Sebastian mumble 'Oh I didn't even think of that.' I was assuming he was talking to Chris because it didn't make sense in out conversation. "Kate do you know how to get there?" I laughed a little before answering. "Yes I do, it's just a few blocks down from where I work."
"Oh right..I forgot you paint naked men for a living." I could now hear Chris and Sebastian laughing. I could almost feel them smirking. "Ha ha very funny! You'll get your phone at ten tomorrow Sebastian, good night!" I hung up the phone feeling pretty pleased with myself.

I finished Fifty Shades of Grey, preferring the books but enjoying the plot, and went to bed. I couldn't help but wonder what he was doing at Studio Ten tomorrow. I guess I would find out sooner rather than later. I turned off my bedside lamp and fell asleep thinking of tomorrow morning, and possibly a certain Romanian actor.
