With Love, your Bestfriend (A Cody Simpson love story)

It’s been a year me and Cody being best friends. We are always together. Sometimes, people get very annoyed with us. We can’t be apart. And we are neighbors. He just moved here a year ago. And today is our friendship anniversary. I am upstairs waiting for him since he promised me a surprise today. Suddenly, I hear a knock on the door. I jog downstairs with joy and open the door. It is Cody!

“Hey Codes!” I smile and give him a huge hug.

“Hey Mia,” Yeah, he’s calling my name. Mia.

“Wait a minute. Mom! Cody’s here! I’m going out with him. Bye, love you,” I scream and close the door behind me.

We walk along the roadside.

“So, what’s the surprise?” I asked.

“It is a big secret,” He replies with some cute nods.

I roll my eyes. My hand slips down his jeans pocket and reaches for his iPhone. Cody doesn’t even care about it because I’ve used to do this before. I play some games and suddenly he stops.

“Are we here?” I asked while looking around. We are at the park.

“Is this the surprise?”

“Wait a minute. We are at the park? For what?”

“Any function here?”

I keep asking him continuously but he remains quiet. I become impatient and punched him playfully on his arm.

“I’m asking you Cody!”

“Ouch!” Finally, he talks “Yes, we are here. And for the surprise hmm… Wait here,”

He runs away and disappears slowly among the bushes. I wait and wait and wait when suddenly a string under my foot was tugged. There’s a small note. ‘Follow this string. I know you will hate this but take it as an adventure. ;) –Cody’ Seriously, I hate adventure. I let out a small sigh and walk following the string. With his phone in my hand, I crawl beneath a big crack on a wall.

“Ugh. Cody, I’ll make sure that you will get your punishment from me,” I mumble.

And finally! I made it! I can see a boy with a blonde hair smiling at me with something at his back. We are absolutely alone in the small area. I mean secret area which is very amazing.

“Cody! You know I hate adventure!” I yell at him and he giggles.

Slowly, he hands me a plastic knife with his name on it.

“Hey, isn’t this yours?” I show him his name.

“No, that’s yours and this is mine,” he says as he take another knife with my name.

He leads me towards a mat that lay on the ground. He sits down and I join him. There is a cake with ‘Cody and Mia’ written on it. Our favorite color, baby blue icing covered the whole cake. It looks very sweet even it is a normal cake.

“Aw. Thanks Codes! It is our first friendship anniversary and you do it perfectly!” I said and hug him.

“You’re welcome,” he replies.

We cut the cake into a few slices.

“Chocolate!” My eyes shine very brightly noticing my favorite cake flavor.

“Oh Mia… You are cute,” he says and put some icing on my nose.

“Hey!” I wiped my nose back.

We eat the cake while being noisy laughing, giggling and screaming together.

“Cody, what is this place?”
