Hey guys, this is one of my first books so don't judge, well, unless it's judging in a good way, in which case go right
ahead, comment, vote, read until your heart is content (or at least as much as there is there at the time).
So anyways, I apologise for the short chapter, but oh well that's life they will get bigger and I hope you like
reading my book (be aware it's a book in progress so I might be going back and editing, adding in or taking out
small parts)
That's about it, (I think)
Enjoy,
Love Hazel

Chapter 1.
I'm sprinting now. Crashing through the trees that stand in my path. I don't know where I'm going, or how I'm going to get there. I
just know I need to get away from them, and fast.
The clouds were rolling in, building up there strength, getting ready to unleash their down pour on to the people below. And
unfortunately today that included me. Great surely my day couldn't get any worse than this. I kept going, feeling the eyes burning
into my back. The first crack of thunder came, and a torrent of water began to fall through the branches, splashing onto the
floor, forming huge puddles.
I can hear them now, their footsteps echoing throughout the forest, their threatening whispers bouncing off the trees.
Their getting closer.
I pick up the pace, my feet thudding against the ground. I've been running for a while now, and I can feel my lungs shouting at me
for air. Willing me to stop.
But I had to keep going.
I had to run.......................
I don't know much, but I know enough. Enough for whoever is after me to not give up, until I'm dead and gone.
Nothing more.
Nothing less.
All I remember is that I was at a party, I think. I remember how I looked, the dress, thigh high and black and the shoes
black suede boots with crystal skulls on the ankles. My favourite though was the necklace, pure blood red beads, hung around
my almost ghostly pale neck.
From then on my only memories were all the flames, the bullets, the screaming, the walls burning around me. The crashing and
shouting, people running for their lives.
All the noise.
There was so much chaos.
And then the silence.
My ears were ringing. The beads of my necklace fell from my neck like they had been pulled. As if in slow motion, each one hitting the
floor with an ,almost echoing, thud, that appeared too loud.
And then my last memory.
A whisper.
The words it spoke. At that moment I would never know that they held so much. So many lies and secrets. So many emotions and lives.
At that moment I wouldn't know that it would set off a chain of events that would change my life forever.
It spoke only once. A single lonely word.
"Run"....................
