It was the start of a new day. A cyan ally cat laid in her bed resting.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! An alarm suddenly started going off."I'm awake...I'm awake..." The cat snored and muttered. The cat then realized the time.
"12:30!? Shit! I'm late!" The cat exclaimed. The cyan kitty then got out of her bed, dashed downstairs and grabbed some clothes. Minutes later, she had worn a blue and green tank top, jeans, and a beanie. She had brushed her teeth and hair, and was ready.
"Screw breakfast, I'll just grab something at the park." The cat said as she slammed the door.
Meanwhile, a white, silvery hedgehog was sitting on a bench. He sat there, tapping his foot on the grass. He was waiting. "Where is she? She was supposed to be here 20 minutes ago." He muttered to himself. "Silver! Silver! Silver!" A voice called his name. It was that cyan kitty once again. As she continued to run, the cat than tripped on her shoelace. "CRAP-" she yelled before she fell on her face.
"Looks like someone fell on their face." Silver snickered before he started laughing.
"That's not funny-" The cat said before she joined in laughing.
"Iris, how come you are laughing then?" Silver spoke with a smirk.
"I guess I thought I should've joined in while the moment lasted." Iris said as she got up, dusting dirt off her clothes.
"So...since you're here, what now?" Silver asked Iris.
"I guess we could walk for a bit and chat." Iris said with a smile.
The two then started walking. Iris saw a map to a trail and she suggested that they should walk on it. Silver nodded in agreement. Iris then grabbed Silver's hand and took off running, Silver tried not to fall down though.
"Can you slow down? I'm trying not to trip and fall here! I'm not as quick as you, remember?" Silver panicked.
"Whoops, my bad." Iris spoke as she stopped.
"Thanks...I guess." Silver said.
"You alright?" Iris asked.
"Yeah. I'm fine." Silver replied, scratching his head.
Silver and Iris started walking once more. Hours then passed. All they did on the trail was walk and talk. They chatted about some things, here and there. Silver even mentioned how he thought their future was going to be. Something then caught Iris's eye. She started to run again. Silver didn't tell her to stop thought, he just followed along. He knew what was going on. Iris stopped running. They were on the edge of the forest, or the end of the trail. It was a beautiful sight. They saw the sun, setting in the sky. Iris saw a nearby tree and sat down, laying on the trunk. Silver did the exact thing, sitting next to Iris.
"Silver? Isn't this beautiful?" Iris said staring at the pink sky.
"Pretty much, Iris." Silver replied.
Silver leaned against Iris. He felt happy.
"If only I could see everything else too." Iris spoke.
"You can leave than to me." Silver said with a smile.
Silver picked up Iris. Iris was surprised and was questioning what the heck Silver was doing. A cyan aura then started to float around the two. Silver and Iris began to float. Soon the couple was in the sky.
"So, what do you think?" Silver asked.
"I can see the whole city of mobius! All the lights, everything! Iris exclaimed with a smile.
A couple of minutes had past, and Silver was starting to get exhausted from using his powers for a long period of time. The two the flew back to the ground.
Silver and Iris then walked back to the place where they had been. They leaned on the tree once again."That was tiring. Carrying you and using my ability at the same time." Silver said.
"But it was kind of you to do that for me though." Iris said.
Silver's quills perked up. "R-really?"
"Yes. Actually." Iris giggled.
As the two were distracted talking, an erie black mist started to come out of the ground. It started to wrap around Iris's legs.
"AH!" Iris panicked.
Silver then noticed the black mist wrapped around her legs. Silver used his telekinesis to try to push it away. "Ha!" Silver yelled as his telekinesis shot out of his hands. But...it was no use. Instead it didn't come off. The mist had knocked back Silver. The unknown substance then went from Iris's legs, to her body, then her arms. She couldn't move. Iris started to panic even more. Scream even. She was then dragged underground. Silver was knocked out, but then awoke. He was in horror as he saw his love being dragged underground. He ran, but was not fast enough. The last thing he saw, was Iris's hand reaching for him.
