Chapter Sixteen

One week until Wrestlemania, Dani and I have been back together for nearly a month. Happiness seemingly following Dani everywhere. Hunter seemed content with Dani's involvement in the Authority. Jordan had recovered quickly, her little fingers wrapped around my neck, snuggling into my chest. Dani head resting on my shoulder as we sat in our locker room. Steph said, "So you two ready for Mania week?"
"As ready as we'll ever be."
"Dani, I'm glad you finally came to your senses and joined us."
"It was either that or stay stuck at their level," she said smirking.
"She's adorable though," Steph said, "I hear she's a fighter, just like the two of you combined."
I looked at Dani who said, "Yeah, she is. Probably will outshine us in the end."
"What's your plans for Mania since you and that idiot Orton are going at it?"
"Kick his damn ass. That's what he deserves for betraying us."
"Damn right he deserves it, after what he tried to do to Jordan," Dani said.
When we finally finished Raw, and went into our hotel room, Dani laid Jordan down in her crib, and turned to me. "Steph knows doesn't she?" Dani asked.
"Yeah, I think she suspects. Who could've told her? The only ones in the room that night were, you, me, Dean, Roman and Galina. Well we can rule Roman and you out."
"You too," she said, but I put my hand up to stop her.
"If I were you I wouldn't trust me. Who's to say I'm not playing you again?"
"Because of Jordan," she stated simply.

Authors note: Is Seth trustworthy? Who sold them out to Steph? Is everything as it seems? Will Dani and Seth ever truly be back together or will he simply be what's not best for Dani?
