December 17, 2010.

Today I was adopted from "Happy Pets" pet shelter. A man with a butterfly sewn onto his jeans gave me to my new owners. At least that is what they think. Nobody owns me. There were two girls and a big man and woman. The girls were too hyper. They kept getting in my face and poking the carrier case. I despise my new life. While riding in the car, which might I add was an experience I'd like to forget, I overheard the littlest human child proposing the idea to name me Mr. Whiskers. This did not amuse me. I do not want the generic cat name. I am not even a male. However they overlooked that and named me the horrid name, Mr. Whiskers.

Later that same day....

My new housemates are trying to find me. The moment we entered the house, they released me from my prison. The joke appears to be on them. I ran as fast as my feline legs could  carry me, and jumped onto a counter, then I lept onto a large white box, reaching near the ceiling. I have been sitting here for an hour. I sit quietly and listen to them walking around the house calling me like I am some kind of ignorant child. What fools they are. I will not listen to them, I am the boss.

That Night...

It has been the worst day of my short life. The other lifeforms in this house decided to introduce me to their other "pets". They have two dogs. From what I have gathered, both are imbeciles. First, the black one barged into the room. He had quite a (in simpler form) dumb face. I do not understand his need to get in my face and sniff me. So, obviously needing to show my power, I scratched his face in one swift motion. The dog then left the room. Later, they brought out a yellow canine. He was more reserved. This one sat and growled at me for a while. Stupid creatures. What did I do to deserve this tragic change in lifestyle?
