{ Song of the chapter: Fight Song by Rachel Platten }
You have to endure to live...
[ Rosalie Scott ]
It's been two weeks in J.Franklin, It was a free period, and I was on the roof on my own.
I remembered the first time I got up here, it was Aria and me, on the first day of school. And I remembered what we talked about.
She laughed, when I told her I spilled champagne on Calvin, "I'd pay to see that!" She exclaimed.
"Well, I paid for it. It costed me my bloody Job," I said, then laughed when I realized it was a little funny.
"Well, shit. Sorry for that," She said, and I shrugged as a response.
I hummed when a question popped in my head, "Your class is weird, what is it exactly?" I asked, she tensed a little but relaxed after all.
Letting out a breath, she answered, "I take nearly all my classes in there," Her tone was almost sad.
A crease was formed between my brows, "Why?"
She pursed her lips, and narrowed her eyes, clearly looking for the right words, "Okay, You know Calvin right? He's the heir to Reynolds Enterprises," I nodded, "My father has his own business, well he inherited it from my grandfather– but that's not the point. In a summary, we will inherit millions of dollars, along with the family business, and our families aren't going to give it to us that easy. So they made this program. Well known heirs would study business and economics early in their age. So, we take classes away from other students,"
It took me a moment to get it, "But all of the students are filthy rich down here," I stated, she laughed awkwardly before answering.
"Not to sound like a bitch, but they're not all heirs to billions of dollars worth of cooperations," She said, then scrunched up her face, "I did sound like a bitch,"
I laughed, "Yeah, you did," I agreed. What I said made her smile, she just looked at me and I couldn't help but find her smile saddened. The Sparks in her eyes never left. I asked, but didn't expect an answer, "What's your secret, Aria?"
She inhaled and exhaled, "Someday I'll tell you,"

In lunch period, Aria was practically running into the cafeteria, aiming for my table. I was looking at her with utter shock, like the rest of the students. "Why the hell are you running?" I asked her, while she was gasping for air, I offered her my bottle of water which she gladly took and finished.
She grinned as she wiped her mouth, "My brother is coming back today!" She had a brother? How could I know, I've only known her for two weeks. But we got kind of close these past weeks, I can't deny that.
"Wow, really? You didn't tell me you had a brother," I told her, she hissed as if she was cut.
"Sorry, slipped my mind. But you get to meet him tomorrow! He's cool," She clapped her hands excitedly, while I stared at her.
